I JUST CALLED TO INQUIRE HOW MUCH MEMORY CARE WOULD BE A MONTH I WAS TOLD $8,000 - $10,000 A MONTH AND I WAS SHOCKED AT THE COST. OTHER HOMES ARE CHARGING LESS FOR THE SAME SERVICE. THEY SAID AROUND $3,500 FOR A STUDIO IN ASSISTED LIVING WHICH IS AROUND WHAT MOST OF THEM CHARGE BUT WHEN I ASKED ABOUT MEMORY CARE THEY QUOTED THE ABOVE PRICES. WHO CAN AFFORD THAT? I WILL INQUIRE OTHERS IN THE AREA

My mother moved from the nursing home in Crown Point Christian Village to their memory care section. The people that work there are very nice, very helpful, very cordial and very attentive. The communication is very good; we have conferences weekly. They have a couple of cats that roam around, they play bingo, and they have other things. Because of the virus, we're only allowed to meet in their large meeting room. They have a nice courtyard, they have a bird sanctuary; it's large outside. The facility is very nice and well-maintained. We chose this place because it's rated very highly.

Very caring staff. Administration willing to listen and make improvements as requested. One building contains assisted living, skill care, memory care, and nursing home. My Dad went from assisted living to nursing home, with Mom still in assisted living. Because all was in one building, Mom was still able to visit Dad multiple times during the Dad. The nursing home staff was very compationate.
