We have chosen St. Martin's in The Pines for my mom. It's a nice facility, it's been around for a while, and it's close to my sister's house. They have a courtyard and a sitting room attached to it. Then they have the usual meals and supervision, all that good stuff.
She's in their memory care unit. I've only had limited exposure to the staff, so far, but they have been quite helpful. They're quite accommodating too. The facility seems to be well-kept. They have exercise classes, dances, and all sorts of dominoes games. Not only do they have the memory unit, but if something happens, they also have a full nursing facility.

We chose St. Martin's in The Pines because they seemed responsive, and the price was good. It has a caring and good environment, and the residents seemed happy. I tried the food when I was there, and it was good. They had a nice big common area and do some daily entertainment activities and get-togethers for everybody.

St. Martin is a much older facility, but it's very well cared for. I have three friends that live there. They have Bingo, Bridge, and jigsaw puzzles. They take trips to the stores. The rooms are very nice, and they put new carpeting, and paint the walls before anyone moves in. I've eaten there many times, and the food is very nice.
