My father stayed in Living Court Assisted Living Community. They were very friendly and very helpful. They made sure you didn't judge it by the outside. They renovated the inside. It was beautiful inside. They were all very kind. If we needed something long term, we would probably at least consider it. Food was fine, and my father ate it. They had a baseball viewing party in their activities room. They had a regular happy hour one afternoon. Then they had a pumpkin carving activity outside. The staff were very friendly. They did a good job on their activities.

I've toured Living Court Assisted Living Community. It's a nice place; it's a small community with 54 units. The staff member, Rachel, answered all the questions that I had. I saw a studio apartment, it looked nice. It's got a good layout, there's more privacy because it's got a low wall if you want to put a bed, and you have a couple of choices. Every unit we looked at had a little kitchen and nice handicapped bathrooms. They have a game room, they have a little courtyard, they take people to the store, and that kind of stuff. They have a lot of things scheduled for the residents all the time. The place is very clean.

I visited Living Court Assisted Living Community. What I did not like was that they had no room furniture at all, not even a lamp. I did like that they had air conditioning and heat, that was regulated by the resident in the room. I did like the grounds. The grounds were well-kept and clean. There was a large area for them to sit outside, and under cover. I
did not like the fact that I did not see 1 resident walking around the entire time that I was there. So, I didn't get to see the interaction between them and the staff, or between themselves or anything. I did not like that they did not do their personal laundry. They would do the bedsheets and linens, but not their personal laundry.
I talked to Beth, she was really nice and she was able to ask me about the state of my mom, and she told me that they did take Medicaid, but mom would have to move to a different building. There was call buttons and centers to know when the staff left the bed or needed assistance. And I like the fact that there were private bathrooms. They had a little microwave and a refrigerator in each room which was very handy. There were 2 RN's that were available 24/7. It was very neat and clean. It's very well organized.

I'm moving into Living Court Assisted Living Community. It was very, very nice, and they were extremely friendly. The residents that I saw there were very happy. The staff was absolutely magnificent. I enjoyed spending time with them. The food was good. The facility was very clean. It's an older building, but it's been very well kept up.

I liked Living Court, but it was full. Somebody I have worked with was there and said that she loves the place. It was an older building, but they were adding on something brand new to it. Living Court was very homey, and you could tell that the people were very happy to be there.

My mother-in-law is at Living Court. She has been there about a month and a half now. She likes it pretty well. The room is nice. They completely re-painted and re-carpeted it before she moved in. She is very happy with her room. She is in their largest unit. There is a bedroom with a door. The kitchen has a microwave and a small refrigerator. The facility's dining area is nice. They have a recreation room where they have a pool table, puzzles, and things like that. I like the staff too. My mother has made some good friends with the residents already, so that's nice. The facility is convenient to town, and I know they have a shuttle. There is also a beauty shop and a girl who comes in who does their hair right then and there in the center. However, it seems like there is not a lot of flexibility around meals. If you're not there at 8, at noon, and at 5 when the food is served, then that's it. It would be nice to have a little flexibility, but I don't think they can do that.
