Kent Place was small, which was good. The girl that handles that, Grace, was very good. I really liked it. If I was going to put my wife in a place, I probably would have picked that one. The rooms were nice. It seemed very pleasant. At the time, they had 36 rooms, but they're only using 18 of them. It was a very nice place. Unfortunately, they were one of the places where, after they evaluated my wife, they thought that she was going to be a lot of work, and it would be very expensive to have her there. The facility looked very nice though. The only person who assisted during the tour was excellent. I was very happy with that place.

Kent Place has 36 rooms. It's a one-level facility so it's much smaller and has fewer residents. The place was clean and well kept up. The residents were having happy hour when we were there and they were in the dining room and seemed to be engaged and talking. The apartments were a bit small but adequate for what someone would need. All the units had windows that faced the interior courtyard and exterior. So, even during COVID, everyone could talk to their relatives through the window. It had a feeling of a small family-run-one-story hotel versus a two-story inn with lots of hallways. So, it's just a difference in size. For some people, that would be their cup of tea, and for other people, they might feel that there wasn't enough. They had a small library that had a small bookcase, too. The staff seemed fine and they offer a less expensive cost than the others. I know people from our church who have been there, and they seemed happy. I also know someone else who had their mother there and they were happy with it.

I took a tour of Kent Place for my sister, and they were very friendly and very knowledgeable. They seem to know what was going on, and I was very impressed with them. The layout was very good because it was done on like a circle, so everything was on one floor. It was very easy to get to places, so no one would get lost or anything. It was nice. They have an inside courtyard that has very well-groomed trees and grass. It had nice tables and wooden lawn furniture.

I went to Kent Place and saw where they were at. I looked through the windows and it looked like it was something we would not have been interested in doing. It was expensive and the rooms were very, very small. It was way out too, in the middle of the neighborhood. It's very far, so it just wouldn't work for us, but they were really nice. I met with the person that scheduled me to come and talked with through the facility, and he was awesome. He showed me a binder and sent me pictures of paperwork and measurements, and anything I asked for. They were very accommodating and very nice. For our price range I only looked through a couple of studios that were available, and from the outside they were nice, they were just really small. They seemed like they were pricier when you start to add up care costs, and they were way up on a hill, and then you go winding through a neighborhood to get to, way, way out in Camas. For us it's very far. It had a really, really nice courtyard. They could go out into the courtyard to sit and they had events out there. They can go outside pretty much anytime they want because it's contained, and that part was good. If we were looking for something that's contained like that, it would be fine.

My parents are on the waiting list of Kent Place. The tour that we had was a great tour, they took us around and showed us everything. They also had us stay for dinner, and it was really nice. The staff was really nice and accommodating, they seemed to engage with the residents. Everything was really nice and clean. They have 1-bedrooms and studios, we were able to see both and they were really nice. They had social activities, games, they have like a happy hour and they take the residents to the store once a week or the grocery store. They also have a van they use for doctors' appointments and such.

I'm pleased with Kent Place. They're taking very good care of my father. The place is clean, beautiful, and friendly. They do a great job with meals, medications, and whatever his needs are. They're even helping him with his dog. I would recommend them highly. They have different activities and bingo. They have a new cook, so there's been a little bit of complaining. The facility is well kept, updated, nicely decorated, very clean, and does not have odors at all.

I’m living in Kent Place. The staff people are very nice, knowledgeable, and well trained. It’s a nice, clean place, and I think everyone living here is very satisfied. We have all kinds of in-house activities, and we go to concerts and take fishing trips in the spring and summer, so there’s a little of everything for everybody. The food is OK, and the rooms are great. I’m living in a studio now, but for the first year and a half, I was in a one-bedroom, which had too much room for me.

Location wise it was very close; it is less than a mile from my house. The facility looked really nice with kind of a circular drive that comes up to it. They did have nice entrance double door that would automatically open. It also looked very nice when you get in there and their rooms were okay. However, like others, they also didn't do a two-person assist. Also in terms of activities, it wasn't like they have a lot. With regards to food, meals were served at certain times as opposed to a lot of other ones, which are realizing that food is very important to these people. Also when other places would offer much more in terms of food, sometimes that would tip the scale. Overall, the facility was just okay.
