Cascade Valley Senior Living was older. The building was showing its age, but it looked nice and clean. I met with the director, and he's the one that gave me the tour. He was a very, very nice individual. He said that they were giving it a facelift and doing some remodeling this year so it might be better after that. The common area was very small. It was on the second floor. You have to take an elevator up to it, which was fine, but it just seemed kind of cluttered. The rooms were fine. I liked it. They were well-designed. I got to meet the head chef and I was pretty impressed with him and their meal selection. They do a lot of things from scratch and they had a good menu.

My mother-in-law moved to Cascade Valley Senior Living assisted living. They're very caring, they're just angels who work there, they're really attentive, friendly, very kind, and very helpful. Her room is nice and the maintenance seems good. They're undergoing renovations right now and are a little bit old, but they have a salon area, a laundry area, an activities room, a nice dining hall, and a nice foyer or lobby. We chose this place because they have assisted living and memory care, and they accept Medicaid. My husband had the food and he said it was delicious, and my mother-in-law is eating better than she's ever eaten. Their dining area is spacious and very nicely done. I highly likely recommend this place to others. They take the residents out on shopping trips, they have internal activities, and they keep their residents busy. They're not at the high end of the scale like other places we've visited, but it's worth the money.

The person who showed us around Cascade Valley Senior Living, Kelvin, was very helpful, very straightforward, and explained everything very well. They're in the process of updating the community and the decor, and they're going to be doing some refurbishing of some of the apartments. It's a privately owned place and I thought they were very thoughtful. They offered for us to come back and have a meal. They have a library. They host several social events. They had a Bible study group when we were coming through. It looked like it had a large number of people attended.

The tour at Cascade Valley Senior Living was very good. The staff showed us around the building and their activities. They were very thorough. The staff was very friendly and knowledgeable. The rooms are a good size, and they are safe. They have whatever they're going to need, like a bathroom, fridge, and microwave. They have studio apartments. They were playing bingo. They showed us their exercise program, dining room, and outside activities that they can have.

I liked Cascade Valley Senior Living. It was very clean. People were having fun, and they were all quite presentable, and they seemed pleasant and happy. I like the staff there. I like this place very much. It's just farther from home. They were dining when I was there and it looked pretty good. They had a church study group, a lot of different games and crafts. The staff was wonderful. The rooms were small, but they were nice and they had nice patios. It's almost a country-like setting because it's on the outskirts of town. They offered a lot of activities. They had a game room, a library, a music room, and a piano. They were very good. The place was very small, but it was very nice. My mom might like it because she grew up on a farm and outback you can see deer and stuff. There's a little wildlife and they had a garden.

The people in Cascade Valley were very nice and helpful. We felt that most of the residents have more progressed dementia than our mother. There were quite a few people wandering around and a lot of the ladies were still in their pajamas. It looked really comfortable and they have activities for the residents. They told me that if it works for my mom she can even go over to assisted living to join in the activities.

We chose Cascade Valley for my mother-in-law because the home feels small, and the cost was totally in our budget. She's in the memory care, they give good one-on-one care, and it's not like a facility, it's like a home, like a family. They have a van that take the residents places. The nurse, Sandra, gave us great care, cared about the individual, and she's one of the main reasons we chose Cascade Valley.

We placed my mother in law in Cascade Valley and she seemed happy there. The living environment is friendly. The staff was nice and caring and the food looked good. They had bingo, St. Patrick's cupcakes and field trips. I'm satisfied with the facility.

My experiences with this facility have been extremely positive. Every time I have gone the staff have been extremely open and friendly. They really seem to enjoy helping those under their care. There is a great deal of connection between the staff and the residents; it is clear that they are doing what they enjoy instead of just going through the motions to have a job. There are a great number of special events put on by the staff to help the residents. One of my favorite experiences was on thanksgiving where I got to see all the decorations and the special meal that was prepared for the holiday, it really excited the residents. Along those lines, the facility always has a full calendar of events to keep the residents busy, from exercising, to movie nights, even concerts and movie nights. Overall it just seems like a great place for my grandfather to be.

My mom was a resident for almost 5 years at this facility. I was first attracted to this facility for it's lovely decor and comfortable atmosphere. As time went on, I really came to appreciate how attentive and caring the staff is. They did much to make Mom feel safe and secure.
