About This Community
Established in 1886, The Converse Home, has been a senior living community for over 120 years. We are known for our historic charm and warm and welcoming home-like atmosphere. We recently expanded and now offer new one-bedroom and efficiency residential care apartments.
We also offer a 16-room community, Gardenview, specially designed for residents with Alzheimer’s Disease and other forms of memory impairment. Gardenview offers a peaceful, therapeutic setting that includes an enclosed garden.

Converse Home was too expensive for the room size. It was like $5000 just for one small room with no living room or kitchen. The staff was very knowledgeable. My mom was a former nurse, and she was very impressed with the level of care they offered. The building was nice and had pretty grounds. It's not a very big place, but it was nice, laid out well, and they had a meal plan. We were able to see the menu, but not try the food.

Wonderful dementia care unit and assisted living. Not only is the setting beautiful, but care providers are kind, competent and caring. The facility works as a team to provide an appropriate care plan for each resident. I cannot say enough wonderful things about the care provided there.
