I love Our Lady of Perpetual Help. It's a great place with lots of activities. If you require assisted living, it's the place to be. They have great rehab and physical therapy, different machines and they take them out on outings. You can share a suite or have your own room, and they're done well. They have a nice heat source and most of them have access to windows so you can look outside and get fresh air if you want. The food is fantastic and great. The staff is phenomenal.

The staff is friendly at Our Lady of Perpetual Help. The amenities are perfect, too. My mother-in-law has her own room that is roomy and clean. I have been there for lunch, and the food was fantastic. The activities offering is good. They take them for rides and sometimes to the movies. They have a walking club and a church. My mother-in-law goes to Sunday service there.

It's a nice Catholic place, and I had very good reviews from quite a few people. I went to visit the place, and it is very clean. The nurses and caretakers are wonderful people. The rooms are very nice as well. She said that the food was great. The dining room was very nice. They have every activity you can think of. They have music, and they have an ice cream social. They can go out for a ride and shopping. I met their activities director, and they are very nice. They keep her busy on whatever she wants to do. They have very helpful people, and my sister was very impressed. I am very pleased to have found this place, and I feel that my sister would be very safe there.

My mother is at Our Lady of Perpetual Help. Oh what a blessing this place has been to our family and all other families both past and present ~ From the time we walked in the door twe were greeted with open arms and open hearts. We knew this was going to be my mothers " home away from home". Two and half years later the arms and hearts are still open by each member of the staff. My mother has Alzheimers and she is taken well care of and provided for the way she deserves. She's treated with dignity and respect. The activities are scheduled daily and time for chapel too, and excellent meals and she can get her hair done! It is impeccably clean and always well maintained. Our Lady of Perpetual Help offers 3 levels of care which all 3 levels are given the same love and compassion from all of the staff. My family highly recommends OUR LADY OF PERPETUAL HELP ~

When comparing our lady of perpetual hope to the health condition of long stay residents to other nursing homes in Virginia, it is less likely for residents that the need for help with daily activities would increase over time, for residents to be more depressed or anxious, to have a catheter inserted and left, to have their ability to move around their room get worse, to lose too much weight, and to have a urinary tract infection for high-risk residents to have pressure sores for low-risk residents to lose control of their bowels. When comparing the health condition of short stay residents to other nursing homes in Virginia, it is more likely for residents to be given influenza vaccination during the flu season and to be given a pneumococcal vaccination and it is less likely for residents to have moderate to severe pain and to have pressure sores. Taking this into consideration it should be a well looked into transaction whether placing loved ones in this facility it a complementary status. Otherwise, clean and happy environment was very inviting.

I visited this facility almost a year ago when I was living in Virginia Beach, Virginia. I visited because my great-grandmother is there and she has advanced dementia. At first I was skeptical of her staying in an assisted living facility because of her severe condition; however after visiting Our Lady of Perpetual Help, all of my doubts and fears have been erased. Our Lady of Perpetual Help is a beautiful and clean facility. First of all, it is very easy to access and see because it is right on the main street (Princess Anne Road). However, its interior is more impressive than the exterior. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. They are immediately at your side when it comes to questions or concerns about your family member(s). One particular nurse, Debbie, was with my great grandmother the day I visited; even in her condition my great grandmother seemed to take a particular liking to this nurse. They definitely make you and the residents there feel at home. There is no other facility like this one.
