We went to The Crossings at Bon Air. It was too big for us. For other people, I think it would be fine, but for my mother-in-law, it's too big. The rooms we were shown were empty except for the refrigerator. It was obvious that they hadn't cleaned them up. At this place, we were led around by a marketing person, and she admitted, 'Yes, we haven't cleaned these up. We will fix them up, and they'll look better,' but they didn't look so hot to me. But that place we realized within about 10 minutes was just too big for my mother-in-law. Once we both realized that I probably didn't pay as much attention as I would have otherwise because I knew we couldn't do it. The lady was very friendly. Everybody we met was friendly, but it wasn't a good fit for us, so I started tuning things out.
They had a very nice dining area. They had a little outside area that was nice. But it was just so big that we realized it wouldn't work for her. They had an area set aside for a chapel, whether it was considered just a chapel, but I suspect it was multipurpose. They had some activities going on while we were there. People seemed happy that we were there. I pretty much only met the marketing lady. Once we got upstairs, it seemed a little bit not as well built. The downstairs seemed nice.

The Crossings at Bon Air was lovely, and we were very impressed with it. The staff who gave us the tour took a lot of time to take us around. It was a lovely place and one we would consider when Mom is ready to move into a place. They had a library, a cocktail center, a chapel, a hobby room, and an exercise room. The staff seemed very nice.

We were pleased with Crossings at Bonaire, and we placed our mother there. I think the amenities are good. There is a gym, and they have a lot of activities. They have activities every day. The food is fine.
