We were impressed. Everyone seemed very happy, the staff included. I got to meet some of the residents, and they seemed very happy too. I was there at lunchtime, so I got to see what their meals looked like, and it looked like a nice meal. Also, there's plenty of activities for them to do. They had two exercise classes a day, unlike other places where they only had one, and I just really liked the encouragement from the staff to be able to intermingle with the other residents. Some of the outside areas and some of the living space areas, though, weren't as large as I thought they would be. There's some places out back in their courtyard where she could do some exercises with walking and stuff, but it's not a lot.
The lady who took us around was very affable. She was really great. She knew the residents and the staff, and she talked to me about some of the Medicaid options, and some of the transactions that are available for my mom. Of all the places I went to, she was the most personable. Everything looked really clean and I was impressed with the level of friendliness of the personnel.
I loved it. They were very nice. The facility was small and the people were super friendly. I didn't like the location because it was too far from where I live to make it convenient to visit frequently. The staff was very nice. The place was super clean and had an activity schedule.
It is a nice place for my mother-in-law. It’s like a home. She’s only been there for two weeks, so she’s just starting to get into what they have for them. It’s clean, and the people are nice. She gets three meals a day. They have a van.
This is a very nice facility. I noticed right away the multiple fireplaces which give it a home, comfortable, cozy feel. I can just picture residents huddled up to it chatting about their grandchildren and comparing pictures. One thing that a friend of mine loves who lives here, is her private one bedroom apartment. Whenever I visit, she insists on making me tea at her cute little kitchenette, even though I don't drink tea. She's especially enamored of the large, walk-in closet in her bedroom. She's definitely a shoe fiend and has been collecting them for years. Some of them are impossibly high stilettos. She can't wear most of them anymore"”she gets achy, swollen feet"”but that doesn't stop her from loving her shoes like they're her children. There's enough room in her closet to set them all out for the admiration of all. She's very happy in her new home, especially now that she has plenty of room for her shoe collection!
