The Meadows at Escalante was overpriced for the building. It was a 40-year-old building and the shower had a step. The grass on the grounds was a little brown. It was just a bit old, but it seemed to be clean. It wasn't updated. It kind of reminded me of an old hospital. In the hallway, it was a little unleveled and they didn't have nice carpets. It had that white old hospital floor. There was a tiny living room where all the residents would sit. I didn't see a lot of staff, but the guy who gave me the tour was nice and friendly.

We liked the rooms at The Meadows at Escalante. They were good sized and we liked the convenience from the rooms to the kitchen or any part of it. The person who toured us was good. He just made the it all clear and simple. What we didn't like about it was I don't think they had a swimming pool or anything like that.

My husband is scheduled to move here. He's going to be evaluated next week. At that time they'll tell me if he needs memory care or if he can live in assisted living. It's a very nice community. I describe it as a very light, airy, and welcoming place to live in. The rooms were very nice. The room has a window and wide hallways. The dining room looks so delightful. It's close to home, so we can visit often.
The staff was very good. They're very nice people and very accommodating. I've even spoken with her on her days off trying to get this all worked out. I'm very pleased with the staff. In fact, I know one of the ladies, she lives here where I do. She works in the memory care, and she just loves her job. She loves working with these people. She says it just makes her so happy to be able to help these people. I'm thinking it's going to be a very nice place.

I thought it was very nice. The apartments were quite large, the largest one I've ever seen, and the grounds were neat and clean. Everything looked nice. The person who toured us was just very cordial, inviting, and was interested in us. There was a lady doing her laundry and some people were eating in the dining room. They had a whole list of things on the board, and it was excellent, kept clean, and had everything you'd want.

My in-laws moved here last Monday. So far, our experience is really good, and the staff has been most pleasant and very professional. It's just a really nice place. They're pretty restricted at what they do right now, but I'll be excited when they get past that. The rooms are very nice, and probably one of the best I'd seen. It's pretty close to the freeway, so there's noise. The location is not the greatest, but the facility is wonderful.

It was nice, but it was too far away. The residents were good, the staff was good, and the food was good. I wouldn't have any problem at all having her go there, but she didn't want to go because it was too far away for her friends to come visit.

It is in a nice location. The staff members were very nice. The rooms were big and they have all of the services and amenities. They have an exercise program, entertainment, and a lot of social activities for the people.

It was very good and Stacy, the woman we spoke with, was very helpful and informative. We didn't try any of the food, but the dining room was nice. They had a crafts area, a big gathering room where they hold meetings, and events with the residents.

We looked at several locations before choosing this one for my Mom. We loved the atmosphere and the feeling of "family" from all the staff. They took very good care of her, knew her by name, and went out of their way to make her feel loved. From what we experienced, they do that for every resident. Everything was clean and bright, and they had multiple activities each day. We were able to eat there fairly frequently, and the food was much better than anything we had anywhere else.

It is a 2-story building. We have been here for 6 weeks now and we are on the upper floor in a large 1-room apartment. We haven't done a whole lot of activities, but I attend devotional each week on Saturday, and we've been to a couple of their movies. They have a small library and an exercise room, which I don't think is adequate. They have a very nice clubhouse room and a theater room. They have a big main dining room and a small dining room which is a quieter, and that's where we eat. They do have a bus, but I have not taken it to do anything yet because I still drive. The food tastes good, but since we believe in healthy diet, it really is not healthy food at all. It is very difficult to get fresh fruits and vegetables, and it is very difficult to get things that aren't swimming in butter, sauces, or things that really aren't good for people. That's really our only complaint about this place, because the people when we were moving in were very understanding and helpful. We have been very impressed with the service here.

We chose this for my parents. It's a very nice place and very professional. They have a one-bedroom apartment. They have a tiny kitchenette with a fridge and a sink. There is no stove as there is no cooking in the apartment. Their dining room is a larger room with several tables and chairs. They have waiters, and they can choose two or three choices for each meal.
