We went to Ovation Sienna Hills. They're just as good as the place we've chosen, but they're newer and a little more expensive. They have balconies. We saw the assisted living, and then they had some cottages which were very nice, but very expensive. They had refrigerators and microwaves. They allow pets. They have more of a restaurant-type dining area.

Ovation Sienna Hills was wonderful. I showed up early and they were ready to give me the tour. They took the time to sit down with me at length over the needs that we require for my mom. After that, they took me around the whole facility from top to bottom in the main building that she would be in. They showed me almost every area of it. The facility was beautiful and super clean. It was like the Marriott hotel. The rooms were magnificent. I ran into other staff members and they were extremely friendly, courteous, and very helpful. They just had a very excited and very solid staff.

Ovation Sienna Hills was excellent. It's a beautiful place. The people were super friendly. It was just too expensive for me. I can't afford $4,500 a month; $3,500 a month is as high as I can go. They came out here and got me and took me there because I walk with a walker, and I don't drive. The lady, her name was Sheila, she was extremely nice. She even offered the first month, and most of them charge two months in advance. She then offered me the first month off if I could move in there, but I just can't afford $4,500 a month. The staff were all super nice to me. There are many activities. They go on tours and have all kinds of game nights. Bingo night is Thursday nights. Every time you win at bingo, you get a chip, and you can use those chips for the beauty shop, barbershop, or manicure/pedicure, things like laundry, and all that stuff there. They have all kinds of activities. They go on walks; just about everything you would want. She offered me dinner, but I did not stay for dinner, because I needed to get back home. If you have a guest that comes in to visit you, they get to go to lunch or dinner with you for free. You can have an overnight guest to stay with you, and then you can take them to breakfast for free. Their apartments are beautiful. It is worth the money. It's just out of my budget, and I've got to stay within $3,500.
