I toured Elk Ridge Assisted Living. I liked the closeness, the humor, and how they like to cater to everybody. They took a group to the temple and stuff like that, 'cause most places don't do that. And so they were able to arrange for a great, big, group to go together, and I think that's awesome. The staff was very nice, very willing, and pleasant to listen to. The rooms were big, a lot of light coming through the windows, and the bathroom was really big, very clean. The dining area was very large, and it's got a lot of light coming through. The windows of that place are well designed, they put the windows in the right places where the sun would come right through.

We have mother at Elk Ridge Assisted Living. It's very nice and she enjoys it quite a bit. They have crafts, Bingo, and some kind of horse racing. It's a very small place and we were looking for a smaller place. There's really not extra things to do. They have a little exercise area, they have a physical therapist who comes in, a podiatrist comes in, and they have a doctor on-call all the time. The food is good. The people are very friendly. Her room is spacious. It's great and it's very clean. The maintenance is good. I have no complaints at all. The food has been very good. I would like to see more activities though.
