I was very impressed with River Meadows Senior Living. They had 2 different types of facilities, they had individual cottages, as well as more of a higher level of assisted living, there were little apartment rooms within a large building. They had a large, spacious, and very nice dining area, the staff who showed me around was very friendly, and at that time, I was very impressed with the little cottages, because I thought that was a place my in-laws would like to move into. It seemed like a very nice facility, and took good care of their clients.

River Meadows was awesome. They're very professional and very attentive to the needs of their community. They offered wonderful activities and varied opportunities every day for the residents. The location is unparalleled in all of Utah, probably, so it's very positive. They have assisted living apartments that are relatively new, and that's where the residents don't need full assisted living because they still have independence. They also showed us rooms within their primary building -- which is all assisted living. What's nice about that is for those who do still have independence is they can live in the apartments and get nurses on call, but when they need into full assisted living, they can move into the building, so it's really nice. They have a gym, a little fitness center which is very nice, a recreation/meeting hall room, a separate sitting room with a library, and the kitchen area and common area were very clean and nice. They have really nice amenities.

River Meadows Senior Living has a memory care unit which was an advantage for us. What attracted us were the individual houses which were like town homes. The staff was accommodating and helpful. There was a lot going on when we visited the place. The residents are very independent.

They were very nicely about. They are doing their work with love and passion, i will recommend it to everyone who is going to ask about assistant living facilities. I had a great time when I was there.

This facility has all kinds of options for residents, ranging from more assisted living in the facility, to more independent living in the one and two bedroom cottages, complete with garages! I know a couple who live in an adorable two bedroom cottage. It really is as cute as it sounds. They still have their own home and own space, but they have that support network if they need. They also have a whole community of friends, and they've definitely taken advantage of it. They especially adore all the musical programs. Not only is their a grand piano that my friend likes to play"”she used to be very proficient"”but there are also other musical activities, like karaoke, entertainers, and even dances. My friend even gets together with her girl friends and has a girl's night where they go to the salon, go shopping, and even watch a movie back at the facility. This couple is truly having the time of their lives!
