They are constantly understaffed and what staff they do have, don't speak enough English to even take a message for the manager. The staff were NEVER doing anything when I would show up, except being on their phones. They feed residents food that has zero health benefits (pimento loaf sandwich for lunch) never really offered fruits and vegetables. The manager was never there and if she happened to show up she was constantly on her cell phone for personal business, even when only one worker is there for about 15 or so residents. My advice is keep your loved ones away from this facility and if your loved one is there now, check on them frequently because it's not a safe place.

I'm very happy to have my Mother living at the Holladay Home. The staff genuinely cares about the residents and I have seen that first hand in how they care for my Mother. My Mom enjoys the food. She has a comfortable and clean room. She feels like the residents and staff are part of her family. I guess that is because they are very friendly and because the facility is a small family style home. I like the Holladay Home because it is by far the most affordable assisted living in the area.

This is a pretty good facility. It's not quite as clean as I'd like it, nor as dirty as some other places I've visited. But then, I do have some high standards. I've noticed that dirt tends to build up in the corners. However, I've never seen dishes left over hours later. The residents are never neglected and when it comes to physical care, they're always looked after. There's a hospital fairly close which is the biggest draw, at least for me, to this facility. I have a friend, who's a resident at this facility, who had to be taken to the hospital three times for emergency care. I think the proximity of the hospital saved her life at least once. The assisted living facility's staff also were a big factor in her continuing health. When she started having problems, they were calm, efficient, and knowledgeable. They knew what to do in an emergency and they did it well. My friend's health can sometimes be precarious and I have no problem leaving her in a capable facility like this one.
