Hopkins Place is not a memory care facility so it's not a locked-down facility. The manager and directors are right there, they have nurses on staff and they're really good. They even came out to my home to interview us so I wouldn't have to get my husband out, that's good. We almost picked them. You'd have to be in a room by yourself and my husband prefers a roommate. The dining area was beautiful, it's big and spacious, and they have friendly staff, it's just nice. They have all the activities, they have an activities director and they have a lot of parties and things. Their rooms were very, very nice. It's in a residential community and it's lovely, they have a lot of space there to go outside. The person who gave the tour was Brittney and I love her, she was great.

Hopkins Place looked and smelled more like a nursing home than an assisted living. The people were nice, but the facility had a nursing home smell to it. There is nothing wrong with the rooms, but cost and size comparison to other places, it was smaller and it was more expensive. The staff who assisted me during the tour were super nice. There weren't a lot of activities that I saw, they said they had bingo, but I didn't see anyone in the halls. The facility was clean, it just needed to be deodorized. What they can improve on are the presentation and the cost. It was more expensive than the other facilities and the rooms were smaller.

Hopkins Place was the only place that would accept Mom within 30 miles of our house. They were very attentive and they gave a really good tour. The residents seemed happy and everything seemed clean and safe. The staff was very informative, very friendly, and always seemed to want to help. It was a really nice layout, and it was very clean.

Hopkins place was very good and it had good reviews on it. We liked the place, that's why we are going to move my dad in there. It's just a two-bedroom apartment and we only dealt with the administrator because of COVID. They have meals provided and they have activities that are limited right now. They have a laundry room. They have a courtyard for walking and they do have an activities director that does games and such. It's the best I've seen so far. It's very clean and nice.

This is a great facility that takes great pride in giving great resident care. They will do whatever is necessary to provide the care a resident needs. The meals are always good and healthful. The staff can not be surpassed. Great place for your loved one.
