C.C. Young extends hospitality, understanding, and care to its residents. The staff is very kind and attentive. Rita Wren welcomes new residents warmly and takes a personal interest in each new arrival. As a longtime Dallas resident, I have seen C.C. Young transport residents by bus to church on Sunday. Now I know C.C. Young provides a kind and pleasant environment for its residents.

The skilled nursing and long term care in the Lawther West building is a detestable nightmare. My Mother had 3 falls during the first 2 weeks of arriving on the 3rd floor. This facility is short staffed and staff, doctors, and leadership are underqualified. They have no compassion, customer service, or professionalism towards the patients and their needs or family concerns. We are grateful for the selective caregivers and our availability to be present everyday. For this is how we confirmed all the wrong doing, incorrect medications, etc. This was not mere observation, but our terrible reality that we wish on no one else. We thankfully by God's sovereign mercy were able to move my Mother. We learned that your loved one is better off at a Residential Home Care or with trusted caregivers at home.

C. C. Young was a huge facility with multiple buildings. Everybody there was so welcoming and enthusiastic. They have different programs, book reviews, and travel logs, so it seemed like an active place. Without seeing the memory care part, I think it’s awesome.

I liked C.C. Young, but it is too expensive. I only visited with one woman from the staff and she was lovely. They were building a bunch of new buildings, which were beautiful, really beautiful, but it was just too much money. It was a lovely complex, but I just could not afford it for my husband.

about 2 years ago, I was given the task of finding an assisted living faciity for my sister-in-law with early stage Alzheimers. After researching about six facilities in the East Dallas area, I selected and recommended C.C. Young's Blanton Assisted Living apartments and services. Other family members and I visit her on a regular weekly basis. I have found that the place is clean, well organized, well managed with caring professional staff, including a nurse, activities director, good staff to residents ratio, good food, services and anything she ever needs. My sister-in-law is very happy, safe and content living at C.C. Young. After comparing it to other competitors in the area and visiting her for nearly two years, I have become acquainted with the staff and I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for assisted living for a loved one. The costs are very competitive for the area. And the campus is nicely landscaped with walking areas and an arts and education center. C.C. Young is a continuing care center with all levels of care as needed. However, I am only reviewing the assisted living because I do not have personal experience with the other levels of care facilities and services. However, I would expect them to also be good.

We visited the C.C. Young & The Cove assisted living facility in Dallas when looking at places for our aunt. The building appeared to be very well kept. The outer grounds looked lovely. The main areas were all clean, fresh and light. We could see a variety of seniors enjoying themselves - and the staff appeared to be very attentive and kind. The residents are all encouraged to enjoy as much physical activity as possible - whether in the gorgeous landscaped courtyards - or inside the exercise facility where they can take classes or use the equipment for strength training. The private living areas were all well decorated and personalized. It was clear that anyone would enjoy living in them. The food in the nice dining areas looked and smelled delicious. The chef takes the time to make beautifully presented meals to the tastes of the residents - who have a variety of great choices. They can also request their favorite foods. The snacks were also healthy, delicious and offered frequently. They have many stimulating activities to enjoy and also host Brain Health exercises - a concept we found intriguing. They really make every effort to enrich the lives of the seniors that live there. The programs they use are individuality designed to encourage all of the residents to engage socially and to be as active as possible. This is a very supportive and caring community for seniors of all kinds and we could see that they are well cared for and content.

My Great Grandmother resided in this living facility. The staff was very kind to me, but my Grandmother had some complaints. They weren't very attentive to her. She stayed there for about 5 years before she passed. It was a very nice facility she had her own apartment and she liked the feeling of independence. I am pleased with the treatment and care my Grandmother received and I would recommend CC Memorial Home to anyone.
