My husband is in Country Village Care and it's great. They're good and friendly people, they serve good food for the residents, and they take good care of them. The food is good and there's plenty of light in the rooms. The staff is very friendly and helpful and they have lots of activities like bingo, playing cards, and dominoes. There are lots of things going on all the time and they have a good barber shop. The living atmosphere of the place is very comfortable and has been remodeled.

I went to Country Village to visit a friend who likes it very much there. There is a lot of space to have family, like a gathering area, and I can go visit him and take him out. They have a nice yard in the back where they can take them in a wheelchair for walks, which he really likes. I’ll probably give it a 5 from what I’ve seen when I walked in and how it is outside. There are trees and a park for the kids. There’s a park across the street, too. It is a newer place too because it’s been remodeled probably a year ago, and it’s fairly new now. The dining area has a lot of tables and places to visit with family. They have little visiting rooms where they can sit and play cards. He likes to play dominoes and cards.

My mom was in Country Village for rehab for a month. It has everything from rehab to long-term and assisted living. It was fine and modern. I think the staff could have been a little bit more friendly, but I didn’t have any problems . When she was there, she wasn’t able to do anything, but she did get a haircut at the salon, and they had a nice program where the podiatrist comes in and fixes their toenails. That was cool. The rooms were very nice and modern. The parking was good and really easy to get to.

We had Country Village Care for respite care. It was new and clean. The rooms were big. The memory care unit was very efficient. It was close to where we actually lived, and that made the difference for us. I had lunch with my mom the day I dropped her off and on the day that I picked her up. The food was good. A lot of it was food that folks in their 80s or 90s could eat, and it seemed to be well-rounded food. I would recommend it.

Overall, this was an extremely impressive facility. The staff were extremely kind, caring, and professional. Working in an assisted living facility is probably a very difficult job, but the people who worked there did very well. I know my grandparent was very happy there. The rooms and the actual building were well taken care of, and it was obvious that a lot of effort went into making the place look as nice as possible. There was also a separate building for residents who wanted a bit more freedom, and still wanted to live as independently as possible. There were lots of things for the residents to do in their free time, and it always seemed like the food that was served was very high quality. Nurses and staff would frequently go around and check on residents and offer them drink and water, making sure they were well-hydrated and well-taken care of. Visiting wasn't a hassle, either. This is a pretty great facility. Nursing homes can be pretty depressing places, but everyone that worked here did their best to make it as pleasant and enjoyable as possible for residents.

Medications are given and vital are taken regularly; for the most part the food is good; most of the time the place smells fresh; the rooms and toilets are kept clean. They have care conferences with the family every three months or when needed. Their clothes are kept washed daily. On occasion problems arise, but are handled quickly as warrented.

I am on the waiting list for this facility. My father wanted to live in Angleton because that i is where he grew up.
The outside of the building looks little rundown. When you walk into the lobby you are very surprised . There is a barber shop and hair stylist, and some other shops as. You might call it a mini mall.
The rooms are very nice and cozy there is the proper security link for each room. They are renovating . They putting a new Alzheimer's wing in as well as adding more assisted living apartments. It will be very nice when it is finished.
