My mom has been in Athens Place for a month now. It is small and clean. Everybody there is super friendly. She seems happy there. Her room is spacious, and she seems very happy with it. The food looks good. I haven't eaten there, but I've seen it. She says it's very good. The surroundings are very clean and nicely kept. My mom does chair exercises; she is in a wheelchair. She also goes to devotions and listens to music. They have people come in and play the piano. There is bingo, and they took people on a ride. She has been on a ride with them. She is kept pretty busy. I really like it because I truly believe she is well taken care of.

I loved Athens Place. This was the one I would have chosen for my mom. They're very family oriented. The bedroom was clean and I liked it. It was spacious and easy to use. I saw the choir singing and the pianist playing. I also saw their kitchen. The whole place was just really friendly.

My sister has been at the Athens Place for quite a long time. It is a very good and very nice place. The new administration has been very helpful, and they are willing to do anything I asked them to do (if it's possible). It is excellent. They are very cordial, and I like the place very much for my sister. I have been talking to most of the staff on the phone, and they were just very personable too. They knew me by name. They were careful to make sure that when I asked for something or called about something, they replied back to me by my first name. They seemed to take a real strong interest in my sister's care, and they tried very much to keep her. For now, they just could not handle the skilled part of care that she needs. Also, they call me every time they have a problem, such as when my sister would fall sometimes. They would always call me about that. I was just very happy with the care. They have several community gatherings, like having the relatives of the residents and come in and have dinner with them. The layout is first class. They had the door shut so the residents cannot get in and out. There is an alarm and no one can come into the place unless they check in and have the combination of the entrance to get into the place. It is very safe and secure. They have a beauty salon, and they have exercise bikes in the hallway. They can come and ride the bikes and workout. They have activities for the residents like bingo and all sorts of other games to keep them and the guests busy. They have Bible studies, and they also take them on van trips to go shopping or on a tour to different areas. Someone is in charge of doing and planning for all of that. They gave them a weekly plan of activities, and they can look at it and list ahead of time which activities they would like. If ever they cannot go to the cafeteria, they would bring their meals for them. She always enjoyed the food and never complained about it. The value we pay is very reasonable compared to the other places.

My mother has moved into Athens Place. They're very friendly, very updated, and seem to have a very caring staff. They have lots of activities. She participated in Bingo, they had an Easter party, they've had some other little socials, and they went shopping yesterday. The food is very good. The staff is very friendly and very professional.

This facility is very nice. My family friend has been a resident for a number of years and compared to other facilities, this place is very nice. The staff is very warm and has been very nice when I have interacted with them. The place always seems clean and a cheerful place to live. My friend has very limited mobility and they have always taken care of her needs to the best of their ability. I can tell that she has a very good relationship with the caretakers. They all know her by her name and treat her like she is a member of their family. They are always laughing and making jokes with her. Some of these facilities are depressing places, and I've never felt that to be the case when visiting. The facility is always vibrant and full of life. I would recommend this facility to anyone in the Athens area over any other. It would be a great choice for yourself or a loved one.

I recently visited your facility, and as soon as i walked through the front door, I felt at home and at mcuh ease. The design and enterior decoration was just so beautiful. The personell where very friendly, and had much knowledge and answered all my questions with enthusiasm. I know my elder will be very pleased and happy I found such an amazing place for them. You guys are amazing and your doing a wonderful job, I highly recommend your facilty to everyone/ and anyone looking with a great and caring place for theyre loved ones....
