Providence Place Senior Living of Dover was excellent. Our experience was wonderful. They took very good care of my husband's grandmother. They had lots of activities for her to do. The rooms were very nice. I didn't have any issues with any staff there. We had Christmas cookies. They had a Christmas party. She never had any complaints about the food. She always enjoyed their options there. At first, going into a place like that, she was not happy, but this time, we had to call her to go visit her because she was busy. The condition of the facility was above average. They got what they paid for.

My mom has been at Providence Place Senior Living of Dover for less than a month now. She's in their assisted living and the place is clean, the facility is nice, and the staff is nice. Her room is a good size, has enough storage spaces, and is perfect for what she needs right now. My husband's grandmother lives there, too, so I've been through the entire facility. My mom doesn't like anything but the food seems good. I've seen it and my husband's grandmother likes it too. I believe there is a library, a couple of common spaces where you can have your family to eat with or whatever, and a fitness room in there. They have some nice outdoor spaces too like patios and that kind of thing.

We have found Providence Place Senior Living of Dover for my mom where she is pretty much getting settled in. She's been in their assisted living for about a month now. The staff was wonderful and they were so nice. It's always been very clean, it's very warm and inviting, and it feels homey for the people that are staying there. My mother loves the food and that was one of the things that we were very concerned about. She wasn't eating very well when she was at her own place so that was one of the things that we were hoping for, that she would like the food there. Every time I go in to see her, she tells me about how good the food was and how much she likes it. They offer a lot of activities, but my mom doesn't join in a lot of them. She's not a joiner but they offer a nice selection. I know they have bingo almost every day. I think today they had a culinary class where they made cinnamon bites in the shape of a Christmas tree. They also have a happy hour, they have trips to the local shopping centers, and they have chair yoga. The price was very much competitive with other places that I looked at.
