We visited Concordia at Ridgewood Place. My mom wasn't impressed with it, it seemed more of a clinical-type setting than a welcoming kind of homey place. She wanted more of a homey feel to wherever she went. The rooms were nice, though they were a little smaller than what we ended up going with, but they were in good condition. It was just the overall atmosphere that my mother wasn't incredibly impressed with. The staff members were very nice, they were very friendly, and helpful. They sat down with us, they explained everything about the pricing, and how everything works. I was impressed with them. They don't have a chapel, but I believe they had services; they were happening whenever we went. They also have a salon and a nice outdoor area with benches.

A friend investigated and offered Concordia at Ridgewood Place to my husband and me. The staff is very good, and the food is very good. We just have a single room, and it's good enough for us. We don't know anything about the community because we're just inside the building, but they have a beauty shop. Right now, everyone's in quarantine because of the virus. We used to go to activities like midweek services, and they have Bingo, but we haven't been to that. None of that is happening right now because everyone's in quarantine, but it's a very good place to be. The staff is friendly and helpful.

I did a tour with Concordia at Ridgewood Place for my grandfather and it was very nice and very good. It was clean and everybody was friendly. The staff members were nice, helpful, and friendly. It's a little bit older inside. The room is a little bit older and basic, but nice.

I have chosen Concordia at Ridgewood because it was close to where I live and seemed very clean, and I liked the people there. It is a very friendly place with the usual amenities, like television and activities. A nurse is there and a doctor comes there, and they have a nice dining hall. They have bngo, word games, and chair exercises. The dining room looks very nice, and the food looks good. I haven’t had any complaints about the food. The room is nice and bright, easy to get in and out of, and has a nice bathroom.

I was looking for respite care, and I found Concordia. I was familiar with the location. The staff seemed to be very friendly and eager to help with my father. The rooms seemed to be clean and in decent size. I was a little hazy on the dining room because my father typically liked to eat by himself, so I didn't pay a lot of attention, but it seemed they had people, in there and they seemed to enjoy being there.
They had a lot of group activities, but again my father liked to work on his computer, so he wasn't much interested in any group activities.

I wish I had toured this facility when I was originally searching for an assisted living facility for my mother. Concordia at Ridgewood in Plum meets all of my expectations as far as attentiveness, cleanliness, beautiful surroundings, very good cuisine, and a professional, courteous, and friendly staff. And the cost is within reason for such a facility. I would recommend to others considering such a move to tour this place. It just has to meet most, if not all, of your expectations.

Concordia at Ridgewood Place was recommended to us by somebody. It’s a faith-based community and I find the people very nice. They have several things to do like arts and bingo. They have exercise programs. I haven’t personally tried the food, but my aunt seems to be pleased with it.

Concordia looked like a converted old school. It was too big for mom and it didn’t have a homey feel. The rooms looked fine. The staff who gave us the tour was fine.
