Residents do not get the care they need due to understaffing and administrators that only care about their bottom line. Aides are worked to death and treated with a hostile work environment when they complain. This facility should be shut down.

The facility itself is exceptionally nice. I've seen other care homes that just don't compare to Rebecca. The outside grounds and pond are very scenic and well maintained. The building is very nice inside, with a chapel, large bird cage (Mom loves that) and fish tank. They also ensure there are a number of activities for the residents. They keep the facility very clean and well maintained. The people are what make or break a facility, and the staff are great. They really do show they care for our mom. Some have been exceptional, but I won't start with names for fear of leaving someone out. All are very nice and caring...the aides, nurses, administration, cleaning staff and even the maintenance guys are very helpful and kind to mom. Mom always comments how nice everyone is to her. I would take this opportunity to thank the staff for being so kind to our mom. It is appreciated. Any concerns or minor issues we've had, have been addressed promptly by the administration staff. I've worked with the personal care administrator at Rebecca Residence multiple times in the past 18 months that our mom has been in personal care. I have to say she has always addressed our concerns promptly and professionally. Her and everyone from the ladies at the front reception desk to the men and women with direct contact with our mom have been great. They have even done whatever they can to work thru these crazy times with COVID and ease the stress for the residents and family dealing with the separation. That is appreciated. We as a family are very happy we were able to have our mom in such a nice facility. If she cannot be home with her family, then we are certainly glad she is in a facility where we know she is truly cared for.

My mom has lived at Concordia at Rebecca residence for over three years. She is loved, feed well, bathed, entertained and has made friends. This is more than an assisted living facility—-it has been a home for her. From Diane at the front desk to the nurses and beyond.....they know what my moms needs are and take excellent care of her. It is such a comfort to know that the woman that raised six kids took care of grandchildren and her husband is now taken care of by such a loving staff. I sincerely appreciate everything they do for her every single day.

Following a fall, my Mother moved into to Concordia at Rebecca Residence in 2018. No doubt the appearance is welcoming inside and out. My primary goal, for her, was to find a safe, healthy environment and be treated with respect. I found that here. Her level of care meets all expectations. If there is a concern, it can be openly discussed with the Administrator. ALL Staff are friendly, caring and knowledgeable of their responsibilities. The "hands on" staff do a great job with her personal care. Their jobs can be difficult as our loved ones are going through many changes and, at times, can forget their "manners". Activities keeps everybody busy. They are always upbeat. Front Desk Reception team, my first "go to" source for info and direction. Always willing to help. As hard as it may be, I now have the feeling that everything is falling into place. As family members we need to find a personal level of comfort. The current Administrator is visible and accessible. She is aware of the residents and their needs. Kudos to all that watch over our loved ones.

My mom has been at Concordia at Rebecca Residence for over 6 months and I am very happy with her care. I feel that the aides, nurses and staff love her and genuinely care about her well being. The surroundings are beautiful and the inside is very clean and bright. They also have many activities for the residents and encourage participation.

Concordia was absolutely beautiful but had a year wait, and we don’t have a year to wait. There were acres of absolutely gorgeous land. The meals were gourmet. You can actually get all your therapy on the premises, which is nice. I think it’s $6,000 a month. They obviously have a good reputation to have a year to wait.

My dad was first in the skilled nursing unit at Concordia at Rebecca Residence, then moved into personal care about a week ago. Everybody seems to be professional and very kind. The place is well maintained, clean, and light. My dad is mixed up a little bit at times as to why he is there, but the people have been very patient with him. The food is good. He is not wild about the rehab services on the skilled nursing side, but they seem to be different in the personal care side, so he is happier with that. We got him a suite so that Mom can move in with him to be together. He is 93½ and mom is going to be 90 in a couple of months. Having them back together is good because she is having difficulty on her own. We are hopeful that this works well and have great confidence in the staff. They have activities like movie nights, crafts, music, movement, and yoga. I am hopeful that both of my parents will take full advantage of the activities. My dad seems to be happy with the food, and it is easy to go to the cafeteria for his meals. The place is really good.

Concordia at Rebecca Residence is the place that I have chosen for my mother. She has been here for two months now. The room is very suitable for the circumstances. I think the staff is very confident and very understanding. The food seems fine. They do exercises and bring musical groups in. They have a number of things for activities.

My grandfather stayed here a few times over the years and I visited it many times and found the facility to have friendly staff with an alright atmosphere. I felt that there wasn't a lot for him to do while he was there, which I guess is why they allow residents to bring in their own furniture. While you can bring in your own furniture, there isn't a lot of room for you to put it in there. The facility felt more like a hospital than an assisted living facility. The floors were very hard in the rooms and the rooms were often very cold. Despite it's downsides, it's country-like setting and friendly staff always seemed to be on the ball when it came to his health. I wouldn't say this looks/feels like the most comfortable assisted living facility, but still have to rate the staff very well.
