Keystone Villa at Ephrata is a lovely independent living, personal care and memory care community located just off of Rt 322 in Ephrata. Keystone Villa opened in October 2014 in the newly renovated building that formerly housed Eby Shoe Factory and Donecker’s Art Works. Under one roof, we are able to offer everything needed to provide our residents with an active and healthy lifestyle. Our Memory Care Neighborhood is uniquely designed for seniors living with memory impairment due to Alzheimer’s disease or other forms of dementia. Our programming includes spiritual, creative and physical activities designed to guide them on their journey and respect their individuality. Our neighborhood takes frequent field trips as well as participates in activities to support local community outreach projects.
Many of our compassionate staff members have been assisting our residents since our doors opened. Instilling longevity within the senior community is a testament to our resident-focused care and provides reassurance to families that their loved one is being treated with the utmost respect and dignity they deserve—just like family should be treated!

My mother has resided at Keystone Villa at Ephrata for six and a half years now, and we've been very happy with that. They worked very hard to find her a solution to go from independent care to personal care. It's all good. My mother doesn't participate in that many activities, but she has always been very happy there. The food depends on the chefs that they have at the moment. There have been times when it hasn't been good, but they've worked hard to improve it. I would give them a 5; I'm happy with them. They're very caring and they're extremely helpful. It's expensive as they all are. They have activities. I know my mother would go on a casino trip now and then when she was able. They have other regularly scheduled activities. They have a salon, they have a store where they could get small snacks and different things, and they have a pool table.

My wife is now at Keystone Villa at Ephrata. So far, we think it's pretty good. It's better than average. They're very friendly and willing to listen to what your concerns are. The food is good. My wife is in a second-floor apartment. It has a microwave. The upkeep is above average. They have activity directors. They have trips, she doesn't go on trips, but they have happy hour and games of various kinds, so they try to engage their people. They have someplace for your hair, and they don't have a gym. I think the value for money is pretty good. It's close and that's one of the major issues and it seemed to fit our needs.

I really like living here. Everyone is really nice. I have a lot of friends and the people who work here are good to me.

Keystone Villa at Ephrata was great. The reason we didn't pick that is that it's four stories and it's just too big for my mom. It's very nice though. I think it's more of a personal choice than anything. The rooms are a little bit smaller. It had more of a feel of a dorm room as opposed to an apartment. It's just a little bit different. It was clean though, and the people were lovely. The lady who toured me was outstanding; they pick good people for their staff.

We toured Keystone Villa at Ephrata. It was very nice. The building was very nice. I saw the staff interacting with the residents as they were eating and it was very good. The only disadvantage it had in our case was that it was a little distant for my dad to walk from his room to the elevator and then to the dining. That was the only drawback. Otherwise, the facility was very nice, the staff were very good, and everything looked great. I didn't see their activities. I would tell others that the facility was very nice and well maintained, and the staff was good. The interior was nice. They seemed to have taken interest in the residents there, so it was very good overall.

Keystone Villa at Ephrata is in a community where I live, and it is fantastic. I have friends who live there and they have lived there since the day it opened. They rave about the place. It is just fantastic, but my parents could not afford anything like that. At 100 and 101, they have outlived their money years ago. I would be glad to put them in there, but no.
It is a gorgeous community and the staff is phenomenal. The rooms look beautiful, large, very bright and very cheerful. They totally redo the room every time somebody leaves. They have a pub where they have entertainment come in and they have a happy hour there. They have a movie and a puzzle room. It is just like a resort and a wonderful community. It is also downtown Ephrata so residents can walk anywhere. It is an ideal community.

My Mother was very unhappy to move and wasn't very nice in the beginning. The staff won her over quickly. They were so sweet with her and took great care of her. I am so thankful we chose Keystone. Their compassion especially in her last days meant so much.
for great nan

my mother has lived here since they opened. She is almost 98 but very independent, living in apartment. She is thriving..due to friends and staff at Keystone. .She feels safe and does most of the activities. We are so very thankful for this amazing staff!!!!

Keystone Villa at Ephrata is an excellent place. The dining area is very nice, and the food is really good. The rooms are immaculate. They take the residents out on trips, they play games, and have music. It's one of the least expensive places that we looked into, and my mom is really happy there.

My mom was a resident at Keystone Villa. The care was minimal, and the accidents were many. The food was redundant, cold, and tasteless. The independent floor which mom resided on was so independent that when someone was sick no one answered. The place is ran like a prison where residents are told
They also have a dementia floor which they have filled with persons needing urgent care. Again those residents have no freedom.
Yes, it's pretty, but, pretty isn't everything. Housekeeping in the residents rooms was minimal at best. Most people just look at the hotel like atmosphere, however, does an 89 year old person need a hotel ? Truly, there's no place like home.

I visited Keystone Villa. It’s very nice, new, everybody seemed friendly, and it seemed like a very nice area. I met a resident who said it’s the best place ever. The rooms were of nice size, and the grounds seemed to be well-kept. It’s a small neighborhood. They seemed to have a couple of things going on like Bingo, movies, exercise classes, and cooking classes.
