Not a good choice

As a family member of a patient at Creek Meadows, we would like to know who's shoulders it falls on when you have a woman with dementia and is taken to the Emergency Room with severe dehydration? The dementia patient who also cannot get out of bed on her own nor knows enough to ask for food and water.....OR the staff and ADMINISTRATION who is too cheap to hire enough staff to monitor the needs and well being of their patients? Be fair warned this is not the place to bring your loved one. Please also know that I picked one star because I had to in order to submit this review, otherwise I would not give them any stars.

I had a family member stay there for awhile. I think it is okay if not much help is required. Don't expect anything special because it's not going to happen. The meals are brought in by a small deli in town and their menu seems like an elementary school lunch menu. For the most part, the employees seemed nice, but they were always short-staffed. They have one nurse on duty and good luck if you needed anything over a weekend.

The folks there are very kind. The facility is clean and homey, with a country atmosphere. They cook the food on site. They contract with many providers for PT, OT and psychiatric support for the residents. My relative seemed to be well-cared for. Their dementia unit seems good. However, based on my family's experience, I think that individuals with more serious medical complications might be better off somewhere with more medical support or a nursing facility.
