Oak Hill Village is really pretty, nice, and neat. The employees are all very nice to me. My husband is in personal care right now. His room is big and beautiful. I took a big recliner, a dresser, his TV, and two small tables. Some of the residents have their own rooms looking like their own living rooms at home. They are really pretty. They have a room where I've seen them playing cards and I've seen activity sheets up at the doors in his room that says they do ice cream nights and there are days where they all go outside in their courtyard.

My brother is here. It is a little bit more down to earth. It is not as fancy as the other one, it is more like Pennsylvania home cooking with stews and soups; they're all good but not as formal. Maybe they have activities, but not as often as the other one I visited before. They do bingo, and they go to a craft department, and make a craft thing. They have grounds you can walk around, and sit outside in the summertime. They have nice yards, and areas to do whatever like sit out.

We are on the waiting list at this community. I was able to see their apartments, and they all looked very nice. Their dining area looked like cafeteria-style. I shook hands with one of the staff members at their dementia unit, and she was very nice. The whole place was nice.
