The St. Mary Center For Rehabilitation & Healthcare facility itself was nice when you walk in. But the rooms felt very dated and depressing, they need help. They have patios, but the patios have steps that I didn't think as safe. Their bathrooms were huge, which was nice. It looked like a motel room so I don't like it. The person that I toured with was ok. The place was dated and needs some updating. I like the layout but I didn't like it for my dad.

My 97 year old mother needed care in the last few months of her life and I toured the lovely facility and grounds with the Admissions Director, Bernhard. The almost 100 year old church is at the center of the complex and it is awe-inspiring. The facility really seemed to have a sense of community, and the staff greeted the residents by name [with a smile] as they passed in the halls. It turned out that St. Mary's was located too far from our family members, so we had to use a facility closer to our homes. I know my mom would have felt very much at home at St. Marys. After we decided that we needed to house her closer to home, the Admissions Director called and contacted me several more times to give me additional information regarding other alternatives for her. He was extremely helpful and informative,

St. Mary Manor (St. Mary Center) is close to where I live, which makes it convenient to visit, and it's also close to my mom's doctor. The price is good, and everybody seems very friendly and helpful there.

We moved my mom to Saint Mary Manor. We choose it because it is closer to us, there seems to be some activities, and it is a Catholic community. People seem very nice, very friendly, and very helpful. She is in a shared room. The food has been good. They have mass every day, bingo, Pinochle, exercise class every day, and movies. They do take them out of the home once every couple of weeks to dinner or on a trip to Walmart or something like that.

St. Mary Manor was a lovely assisted living home, complete with an on-site chapel, a very important feature to my church-going grandmother. The facility was divided into two wings--the Alzheimer's ward and the more independent rooms where residents did not need as much care or supervision. St. Mary's provided wonderful amenities such as a library, computer room, laundry room, and a hair salon. The food served in the cafeteria left my grandmother raving about it and the staff were all very nice and very competent at their jobs, always taking care to check on the residents, hand out their medication, and generally be a positive source of happiness in the resident's life.

A wonderful facility for a true feeling of being at home and part of a family, Saint Mary's offers residents all of that and much more. This is a charming, nicely kept, and beautifully mancured lansdcape for residents to enjoy. Saint Mary's is Catholic based, offers many type of care ranging from independant, going through assisted, skilled, and also memory care. In my experiences with this community, there is true care for the person, their dignity, their health, and well being. The staff always appears above average in all ways.Being faith based, there is a beautiful chapel in which daily masses are held. For those unable to physically take advantage, the mass will be available to them by a closed ciruit tv. In speaking with residents who feel their faith is an important element to their well being, I recognize how valuable the pastoral offerings are...including rosary, and religious services. The care given to all elements of the residents is quite impressive. I have personally seen the comfort a prient brings by simply walking into a room of a resident if only to chat with them. Saint Mary's, especially for someone comforted by their faith, would be a wonderful living choice. I would highly recommend this warm, professional community.
