I visited Village Green and the community is very pretty and clean. I had the chance to have lunch with residents and ordered seafood salad. It was delicious. I also joined in on an Art Therapy class and painted with some of the residents. I’ve taken art classes in the past and was so happy to paint again. I had a wonderful afternoon at Village Green. The staff and residents were all so nice.

If you value your family member don't send them there. The level of care is horrible. The food is the worst ever if you get any and covid 19 was spread all over the facility due to the incompetence of the so called nurses and aids. No accountability and communication between families and management. Just a terrible place to put your loved ones...expensive and not worth it

I can give 0 stars I would. This place is just awful. Treated my mother horribly. Constantly in the hospital with UTI’s. Could never find her glasses. Didn’t get her out of bed till almost noon. Many times she never received breakfast. Supposedly she fell out of bed and laid in the floor for hours. Which I find hard to believe she fell out of bed because she never was able to move herself. One aid to the memory care unit. The list goes in and on. Do not put your loved ones here.

I toured Village Green yesterday. It was excellent. The staff was very friendly. The place was very clean, and it was very new and updated. The residents seemed well taken care of. However, there's no TV available in that room; you have to buy Optimum on your own. I saw a shared apartment and a studio apartment. The staff was excellent. We were offered snacks, but not a meal. The dining room was very nice. They gave me a list of a whole bunch of different activities that they would provide, and the layout was extremely nice.

We went to Village Green. The person that we met with did not give us much time, nor did she seem very interested in explaining everything available to us. The place looked very nice. It was clean and very new. The rooms looked very nice. Everything looked nice. They had everything that one would need. They have activities. They will take the residents to the gym or they go on their own if they can. They do certain exercises and different things. However, the person that we met with was not very interested in asking us anything about my mother-in-law. It just wasn't a good tour. We didn't get that warm kind caring feeling as we did from the other facilities. It didn't stand out to us in anyway. We wouldn't put her there. The staff was a nice lady, but I don't think she knew what she was doing with the tour.

This review is for the Village Greene in Levittown, New York. First the positive. The whole staff, from the front desk to the people keeping the facility clean are the best. The staff, the people that you will be interacting with are always pleasant and friendly. You will be happy and content that these people are taking great care of your love ones. Now the negative. Please read the contract you sign very carefully. Unfortunately, if you are like me, I usually do not take the time to read any contract very carefully. The first person you will be dealing with is the sales manager. I can spend a whole page talking about her but I will reduce her personality in a few words, Used Car Saleswomen. She took me and my daughter on a tour of the facility. She was friendly and very accommodating. However, she never told us that we could not visit with my mother in her private room because of the Covid. I found out this information after I transported my Mom from the rehab she was in to Village Greene. Also it was after I signed the check for startup fees and the months rent. I mentioned it to management but they told me that my daughter and I must of misremembered. That's strike one. Now lets talk about strike two. Yesterday, I went to the facility to pay the bill for the upcoming month. I was over charged 665 dollars from the previous month. My mom had medical issues which prevented her transport to Village Greene for 5 days. They credited our account for the care portion of the five days, not Moms residents, which is the 665 dollar overcharge. The business person that I met once before, who assured be Id be credited for the five days; my sister and my Moms sister were at this meeting, said it was only a partial credit. I mentioned that I'll pay the full amount, but no more surprises. After I wrote and signed the check, this business manager, you'll know her from her inappropriate tattoo she proudly shows off, walked away from my Mom and me in mid sentence. I wasn't happy. So that's the deal. The staff is great, the management, not so much.
