About This Community
Located on seven beautiful acres with many large trees and sprawling lawns, the park-like setting provides a serene, restful area where residents and their visitors can use our outdoor porch or gazebo for socializing with friends and family or playing shuffleboard under a lovely vine covered arbor.
The modern, fireproof building is an architectural gem, especially planned for the safety, security and convenience of the residents. Large elevators, wide corridors with handrails, complete sprinkler system, electronic smoke and fire detectors, and public address system, all provide maximum protection for the residents. The Administrator's office is always open during business hours, and adheres to the management policy that NOTHING is more important than the well being and tranquility of our residents.

Plattduetsche Home Society is lovely and we're very happy there. It looks like it's going to be a good fit for my mom. My mom's room is a nice size, has a twin bed, a little love seat type sofa, a little refrigerator, a life-sized closet, dresser, and a nice, open window. They have activities. The staff seems to be absolutely lovely.

I had a visit at Plattduetsche Old Folks and I was able to see six different rooms; they were all nice. Their staff was fantastic, and I think that what got me hooked. The place is a little dated and not as modern. Their elevators were a little old.

Plattduetschewas quite acceptable, but they didn’t have any rooms available. The rooms were quite nice, very light, there’s plenty of sunshine coming in the windows, and each apartment had a couple of windows. I thought it was nice. The people were quite nice. The food was excellent, and they had a good kitchen there. They have things going on for the residents. The residents were happy there.

My grandmother was well cared for at this facility, both while she was independent and once she need additional assistance. They cooked home style meals and had plenty of people around to help. They organized events for residents and family to come to. The rooms were all independent apartments with good views.
