The food is poorly prepared and often too small portions, so many residents are forced to pay for delivery on their own from local venues. Some of the staff is really nice while others are terribly nasty and it's unclear why they are allowed to keep their jobs. Nice backyard if you don't mind hearing the LIRR go by every 10 minutes, which is right on top of the place. Rather unappealing dining area and tiny bistro. Far below the other types of assisted living places around, though lower cost.

I had gone to Maple Pointe at Rockville Centre a few years ago with a friend of mine who was thinking of putting her mother in assisted living. I liked it then, but when I went back, I was even happier because they had painted the place and updated things. It was very appealing and very bright. Also, the people there seemed very much like my mother. They were very lucid, and they seemed to be having a good time. I got there when they were having a barbecue. The place was really very lovely. The person who showed me around was also very understanding. The place was very welcoming. It was a smaller place. I like the idea that they had different activities. They had a dining room to use if you wanted to have family come over, and it was very much like my mother's home. It was very homey. I would say the location of it was probably only five miles or so from my home.

My parents are at the Maple Pointe at Rockville Centre. It's good. They have a lot of amenities and services, and they have PT and OT. The food is excellent. They're adequately staffed, they have a lot of consistency with their staff, and they're all lovely. They have a lot of activities. They have barbecues on Wednesdays, happy hours on Thursdays, and a movie night. They're reasonably priced.

Maple Pointe at Rockville Centre was a very nice place, and it's a beautiful facility. The staff was very nice. The rooms were more like studios, and they had different things going on. The building was immaculate.

Caring employees, take care of all issues promptly. menu needs improvement. Mom has been here for 5 years and is well attended to., that is my main concern. Since there are two residents in one room, bathrooms must be cleaned daily. One bedroom apartments are great, but a little steep in price.

My sister is at Maple Pointe at Rockville Centre and I highly recommend it. The individual who interviewed me was very forward, didn't try to deceive me in any way, was very honest, and didn’t ask for money upfront. Their food is very good and I was impressed with the menu. They have Bingo, exercising, and they take residents out into the town on tours. They have a little theater with very comfortable chairs and they have barbeques outside. They also have a nurse on staff. They're reasonably priced and it's great for what I'm getting. They have a salon and the residents can go to religious services. The staff were more concerned about how they can help my sister than they were with the money.

My dad was at Maple Point at Rockville Centre when he was still alive. They were very good in a lot of ways. My dad was paying for the highest level of care in assisted living. The staff and amenities were very nice. My dad said the food was good. I found that it was fairly clean although there were issues with the cleanliness in the bathroom. My dad was walking in their courtyard and fell, broke his hip, and needed surgery. He was not able to survive after that and died. I think if they only had an aide in the courtyard to warn my father that he was not allowed to go that way, he would not have fallen. I was so upset when my dad died because he was doing well.

I didn’t like Maple Pointe because it had a horrendous odor. I didn’t really care for the place; it was a poor choice. They staff didn’t understand the residents. The rooms were very small with shared baths. My mother complained about the food the whole time she was there.

We have moved my mother to Maple Pointe, so she's all set. What I like best about this facility is that financially it is more feasible. It is a lovely facility. It is smaller than some of them, and it is very close to my house. The staff was very friendly, caring, and attentive. I didn't try eating there, but my mother said it's alright. It is not her cooking, but it is alright. Sanitation is very good.

This was a last minute necessity for my family. My grandmother suffers from a mild case of alzheimers disease and her recent fall seemed to advance the case slightly. She became extremely forgetful and disoriented. We happen to live just down the road from this facility so that was a huge benefit right out of the gate. The staff has been the most incredible aspect of the facility thus far. They are extremely caring, compassionate, and helpful. Visiting hours are extremely flexible and the entire process has been wonderfully easy. Given that this was unexpected and an obviously hard time for my family, I commend every facet of the Chelsea Assisted Living facility in Rockville Centre. My hats off to them and from the bottom of my heart I appreciate the attention and care they have shown my grandmother.
