New Haven Manor is an excellent, stellar, one of a kind community of the highest caliber and quality which I could not commend, recommend, praise or esteem more highly!
The director of this residential community, Ahron Stark is not only an excellent, capable professional administrator but a compassionate, caring, creative human being as well. The latter is more important when it comes to the care of ones loved ones. I needed to communicate with Ahron quickly and efficiently and he made this possible! The way that problems were resolved was very much with a 21st century ethos.
The facility itself is quite nice. And it is well located with access to supermarkets, public transport and religious services. My mother has a spacious room with a firm bed and access to her own bathroom, meals are served three times a day and there are many activities to do.
My mother loves her room, the food and the community, medical care and staff! If you need to have your family member admitted at a community look no further than New Haven Manor!

I have visited this facility as an option for my grandmother. It was very clean. Everyone I met and staff were quite thoughtful and seemed to be very caring people. Was a great facility, and hope we will choose it.

One of the patients that I see lives in Central Assisted Living. It’s an urban setting, so it’s not luxurious by any means, but it’s adequate for people who need to live in a place with extra attention. The staff is overworked, according to the patient. I see him repeatedly for wound care. He says someone redresses his wound and sees to his wound every day, which is what we recommended to happen, so at least my partial view of their work is good. It seems like the residents get a lot of freedom, which they seem to enjoy, and there’s always a nurse within eyesight. I know they did events for New Year and Christmas for the residents.

This is where my sister is in right now. She told me that it was different from where she came from and this is much better for her. It's a nice, very clean place. Before my sister got in there, I talked to someone, I think the supervisor, who was very truthful and informative about the area and everything. I didn't know anything about the facility because it was in Far Rockaway, and I live in Brooklyn.
At first, my sister wouldn't adjust to it because she already got used to the place where she was at for over a year. But she's adjusting very well now, and thank God for that. They had given her more freedom there and they are trying to get her back the way she was. So this place did helped her and it is still helping her. I really appreciate how they're helping us a lot. They're very good!
