I walked into Atria Park of Lynbrook and it looked like a hotel. The community was renovated and is beautiful and modern. My wife and I were given a tour by Lauren and she was extremely knowledgeable, full of positive energy, and patient with us. We saw the residents engaged in activities and we know mom would love it here.

Atria Park of Lynbrook was very, very friendly. It's very clean and their rooms were big. The one that they showed us was well-decorated. It was very nice. I liked the aesthetics.

We toured Atria Park of Lynbrook for my parents but I didn't care for that very much. It was in a very tight community next to, I believe it was like Northwell Medical Center and it was more of an apartment building style. It wasn't in a setting that I like, they just have communities better than Atria Park. Their apartments all had kitchenettes, no stoves, there was a refrigerator, and a microwave. The name of the person who gave us the tour was Lauren, my brother and I felt a little rushed on the tour. It was very clean but it was very sterile, it wasn't a very warm community in my opinion.

My dad is currently at Atria Park of Lynbrook. It's a nice place but it's expensive and they don't take Medicaid, but it's been a good place so far. It's been up and down with the community, they provide a lot of care for my father. There have been some frustrating instances in just dealing with his medication and his needs, but they have tried to work with me in getting the right levels of care for him. The facility is very clean, it has a gorgeous layout. They've done a lot of renovations so it looks gorgeous. Recently, they have had a lot of staff turnover, but overall the staff is good. I think that the Medtech could be more understanding in terms of patience. My dad doesn't always like the food. I don't think they have as many activities as they could.

I visited Atria Park of Lynbrook, it was very well-kept, and promising. The only thing that stopped me from going there was the price. I like the layout of the other Atria better because it was in a round circle, so no matter where you walk, you'll eventually get back to where you started. This one is more of a rectangle, it wasn't the same layout as the other one we toured. The time I was there, the atmosphere seemed pleasant.

My friend will be moving into Atria Lynbrook. Visually, it's very clean and it has a very nice atmosphere. From what I saw, they have a lot of activities available for the residents. They have organized trips. It just seemed like a very pleasant environment. I haven't had that much of an interaction, but the staff seemed to be very pleasant.

I toured Atria Lynbrook for my brother. It's my first time visiting an assisted living place environment and as far as I can see, it looked encouraging. I think the time frame is too short to do an evaluation, but for the first time impression, it looked nice, and the place is clean. The front desk was a bit busy, though.
When I was there, I had an appointment, and so they get me to the person who was already waiting for me. She was very receptive, and she gave me a booklet and we toured one of the rooms. It was a studio, the largest, and I didn't want to see anything smaller than that. It was quite decent and pretty good.
When I called on the line to make inquiries when I was going there, the person who answered the phone seemed to be very busy. So just cut me short because she had to move on to the next person. As a matter of fact, on the first call, the phone hung up, she hung it up or it was an accident. But on the first call, I didn't get through. I called to say I was running a few minutes late.
The staff who toured me gave me a Christmas cake and she said I could put it in the oven and warm it up for 20 minutes.
I took some pictures of some of the rooms and some of the areas, and to some degree, it reminds me of a larger nursing facility. But one good thing I gather from it is that assisted living is quite different from the nursing home in that I didn't see anybody in rooms like a nursing home, but instead, I saw people playing a game. I saw people doing other things and so that was one good thing that I saw where it seems to be active there.
I would give the person at the front desk a three and a half, but the person who interviewed me, gets a five.

My mother moved into Atria Lynbrook. It's very new, and it's very clean. The staff are extremely helpful and always available. They've been very helpful to me with getting everything set up, and they helped my mother tremendously. There's never a lack of people to help her.
She gets the food she wants, and they'll bring it to her room. They have craft activities, games, and movies. They have entertainment that comes in as well.
Compared to what she was paying for twenty-four-hour home care, this is a fraction of the cost. In terms of a price, this was probably the most reasonable.
There's a salon and a guest dining room for people who want to have their family over or host a party. They're in the process of building a little bistro where they're going to serve pizza, coffee, and things like that. They said it should be ready in another couple of months.

What we like the most about Atria Lynbrook was the fact eventually they're going to have an enhanced-care license. Right now, they don't have it, but they're going to have it in the future. It's like aging in place, so my friend doesn't need to transfer to another site if she gets worse or something happens. The staff was really good. They were able to really help us financially, like they got us a good deal and worked with my friend's finances, so that was really good. We just like them because they've been very attentive and helpful. For instance, my friend was at the hospital, and they reached out to the hospital and talked to the doctor, so they'll be on the top of the medical side of things and her well being.
After so many situations that we had with the doctors, my friend moved in today, and it was good. They brought her some food, so it was good. The staff has been really, really great. She also loves the food. They're doing construction and not everything is so neat, but everything else is pretty clean. They have activities and things for them to do, which is nice. I've seen the activities and they looked really nice.

Now I do programs since we are not in quarantine. I like the exercise classes and discussion groups.

I'm so happy that after an entire year of not seeing my grandmother, I was able to visit her this past weekend. It was such an emotional reunification. Atria followed all of the Covid safety protocols necessary. I felt safe and so did my grandmother. I will be visiting her again very soon.

We saw the assisted living part of Atria Lynbrook. We were able to see one of the new rooms, and they were working on an entire floor and changing it to a memory care unit. The staff during the tour was new, and she's very nice. There seems to be a lot of turnover, which is concerning. The dining area was redone, and it's very nice and very clean. They sent us home with a pie. The place was clean.

Atria Lynbrook was a decent looking facility and the people came across very well. They were under renovation and the available room would not be a good fit for my mom. The services were pretty good. The layout of the facility was decent, but not for a person who has mid- or late-level dementia. They're recreating another section for that. The staff member during the tour was very good.

My mom was in Atria before, however, it was significantly more expensive. The care she received in the facility was excellent. They have daily activities like crafts, music, and they also have bus trips. They should probably stop raising their rent 20% annually.

Atria was lovely. Everything was excellent, and I was ready to check-in myself. The staff was excellent, very friendly, and very accommodating. It was a great place, and the room was clean. It would have been good for my mother.

My aunt is in Atria Lynbrook. It’s well maintained, clean, and modern but for the money that she’s paying there, I don’t think it’s that much better; the price is just outrageous. The room is smaller than my mom’s but it’s a room with a window and the bathroom is a little larger. Lighting is fine. There are a lot of activities. They have exercise, dance, music, and trivia. There’s a hospital nearby. The staff is very good.

Atria Lynbrook was nice and friendly. The rooms were nice too but ultimately they are not an option because they don’t have license to handle medical care such as oxygen and giving medications. The room I went to was small but OK. The dining area looked small and they have different dinner times to accommodate everyone. I met the people that were living in the facility. They were in the room, the TV was on and they were just sitting there, maybe waiting for dinner.

The staff at Atria Lynbrook was very nice. The facility was nice and clean. The people seemed very nice, but it was just very expensive. Food was very good. Residents were doing exercises sitting in the chair. The facility was nice and clean, and the rooms were nice and spacious.

I like Atria Lynbrook, but it was a little too big for my mother. It was too much walking for her. The facility was very nice. The sanitation seemed very nice. It seemed very clean. The staff was very friendly. They were very knowledgeable and seemed very caring. The dining area was beautiful, and the menu looked good. The rooms were very nice.

We visited Atria Lynbrook, and the staff was very pleasant. They took us around and did a good explanation of the costs. They showed us pretty much everything, and I was very impressed. We had lunch there, and I thought it was incredibly good. My mother who complained about everything on earth liked the food.
We saw several bedrooms that were very nice. Some of the residents were clearly not mentally alert and were just sitting. On the other hand, there were some people playing scrabble and reading. The people in the dining room were all sitting together talking, and there were some people walking around outside. I asked a few of the residents there if they liked it there and they said, "Yes." For what I have seen, I would recommend it to others.

The apartments in Atria were absolutely beautiful. They were immaculately clean. Some of them are on the small side, but not much more than what they need. The staff was very, very nice and accommodating. They gave us tours. They explained everything. They sat down and gave us some financial breakdown. The amenities that were there were wonderful. They had bingo. They had music therapy. They had day trips to the malls, parks, and the movies.

I thought the Atria Lynbrook was a nice place, but it is not. It is not the accouterments of the building itself; they are fine. They take anybody with any kind of malady. Most of them require personalized care, and that is not me, so I am in the wrong place. Food is horrible. The room is very, very adequate. Sanitation is fine. The staff is adequate. The residents are not very interesting, and most of them are boring. They take anybody who has a checkbook; they take money and they don't care. The admittance policy is seriously flawed. As a matter of fact, the executive director is so much of a ghost, you never see him.

We've been to a number of facilities and one of them is Atria Lynbrook. The facility is very nice and I have been very satisfied with the tour. The staff are very pleasant, polite, very welcoming. They were very willing to help. I saw a studio room and it was alright. With their activities, I think they have a full schedule of things going on. They have movies, card games, and the residents are taken to places several times a week if they want to go. They also provide three meals a day.

Atria Lynbrook was a very good facility. The staff were very helpful and very compassionate. For that small amount of time and for a visit of two hours, I can say that they are very good. I think they offer activities for the residents. I would not mind living at this facility someday.

My mom had more therapy in a nursing home, and then she was able to rehab herself to the ability where she could walk, especially to be able to care for herself in an assisted living. We were directed to Atria Lynbrook by some people in the nursing home and we toured it. It's absolutely fabulous. The food was very good, the accommodations are good and my mom seems very happy.
She was living in her own home by herself. So here, there's a nice sense of community. There's socialization, activities, and all those things we feel will be life extending for my mother. But they could improve administratively and be a little more clearer about charges and the billing. We had some misunderstanding when the bill was due and how to pay.

Atria is very nice but beyond what I could afford. The building was lovely and the outside was as well. The area where you would eat was very nice. But the people I saw there seemed very old and not too lively. They were just sitting and didn't seem to be talking to each other which was a negative.

I honestly believe that Atria Senior Living provides excellent care for the elderly. The staff is very helpful and really seemed to care about the individual needs of each patient. We were seated outside for the majority of my visits and one of the staff members went out of her way to wheel my grandma outside. She even was considerate enough to make sure she got a spot in the shade, because she knows my grandma dislikes too much heat/sun. I did not sample the food, but I've only heard good things about the quality/variety that they offer. Overall the facility is very large and they have a nice garden. It is conveniently located near a pond/wildlife so there is no reason for the members to be cooped up inside all day, unless it is very cold. I really care about my grandma and I trust that she is being well taken care of in the Atria Senior Living in Lynbrook. The only downside is that I feel assisted living is expensive and I'm not sure how the average elderly person could afford it.
