Since 1967, our family-owned, physician operated community has been dedicated to serving the people of Bergen County and beyond. Our compassionate staff is here to welcome residents to their new home and make sure all of their needs are taken care of. We strive to make life happy and rewarding for residents and their families.

Newly renovated, our stunning interior allows for gracious living. Our well-appointed residents’ apartments which are individually climate-controlled, can be customized to personal taste. This means that virtually anything our residents need assistance with will be taken care of for them. This includes general housekeeping, preparing meals, grocery shopping, and driving to appointments. Of course, residents are still free to do many of these tasks themselves if they prefer—the beauty here is that you have the option.

I toured The Allendale Community for Senior Living, and it looked very nice. It was clean, very welcoming, and friendly. I loved how they had restaurant style food, meaning they were to sit down like at a diner to eat and get served (which is well deserved because they worked hard). The room looked good, and it was spacious. They had availability to have a living room and a bedroom. The grounds were great, and they had a fire pit. They had tennis. They had golf, and it was wonderful. Even the lobby was very welcoming, so that was nice. The staff is very knowledgeable and welcoming. I didn't taste the food, but I like the service of how they did the food.

Because of the COVID-19 epidemic, it's been a challenge to fully grasp the quality of this facility. However, all of my many conversations with various staff members have been very satisfactory. Everyone is friendly, they fully listen to my concerns and do everything they can to address the many issues my Aunt has raised. Since I don't eat the food, I rated it average. It may be better than that, but I have no way of knowing. When a vaccine makes COVID a distant memory, I'm sure the activities for the residents will be more robust, but my understanding is the residents are being given ample activities even during these challenging times. I recommend this facility to anyone who is in the need.

Decor in the halls is dark green, rooms are bright neutral painted walls, food is ok, all staff in every dept are friendly and attentive. Family council meeting is a must, residents meetings handle issues. Courtyard with a fountain and sitting. all necessities for residents needs. Womens and mens club, word games.

The Allendale Community for Senior Living is excellent. The place is very clean, doesn't smell, and is beautiful. The staff is very friendly and they seem to be on top of everything. My mother-in-law enjoys the food and she says it's very good. She likes the beauty parlor and she does a lot of reading.

My sister was at The Allendale Community for a short time. The place was an immaculate, beautiful home. The help was great. I found everybody to be nice and very caring. My sister had a private room with a dresser and a lounge chair. It was absolutely gorgeous and clean. She thought the food was good, but she wasn't raving about it. My aunt loved physical therapy; it was excellent. We loved The Allendale, but it wasn't for my sister.

We moved my mom to The Allendale Community for Senior Living. One of the things we like about it is they can care for her whether she's in assisted living, memory lane, nursing care, or whatever situation she winds up in. She can keep staying at the facility when she has to go on Medicaid after the money runs out. On the whole, it is very nice there, and the people are friendly. This place happens to be very close to relatives, too, so that helps. They have a salon, a game room, a little cinema room, a variety of activities, and Happy Hour. Also, people come in to play live music. They seem to have activities and things going on all the time.

The staff were wonderful and very nice. My only problem with Allendale was it was such a large place; it would be too confusing for my aunt. It was a beautiful and clean facility -- I have no complaints. It was not modern, but not old, and I found it to be very hotel like. I was impressed.

The Allendale Community was very nice. I visited this place. They did a nice job. The reason for the visit was that I was thinking about it in the future for me and my wife. The facility was very nice. It is in a nice area. The guy introduced us to them, and he explained things to us. I would recommend this place to others.
