My father lived here his last 3 months. He was happy here. He had amazing care. We are so thankful for the wonderful care he received here. My father said" I get great care here. They keep me so clean" He wanted to move back to his assisted living apartment, but said" maybe when I get better. They take such good care of me here. There won't be that kind of care in my apartment." This is a beautiful home where great care is given to the residents. It is the place I would go for myself or loved ones.

Greencastle Family Care is a small facility. It's a beautiful home, and it's more of a home-type facility. Grandma has been there for about three weeks now. We like that there were fewer people. There were six residents, and it's gorgeous. It has a very homey atmosphere. It was highly recommended to me and they were right. They are accommodating and very efficient. They have a doctor and a nurse that come in once a week. Alana is the proprietary caregiver and they have two helpers, so my grandma gets one-on-one care, much more than at a big facility. It's great food and it's homemade. There are only six guests there, so they can do this pretty fantastically. They don't have openings very often. They kind of tailor the activities to whatever you want to do and then they provide it, but mostly like puzzles, TV, music, and that type of thing. It's not cheap, but it's worth every penny. I interviewed a lot of different facilities and they were the most expensive, but they were the ones I chose. I highly recommend it.
