Mom’s one-bedroom apartment is perfect for her. The staff keeps it clean and inviting. She is able to have many of her favorite pictures and art hanging on her walls. Mom enjoys Bingo, Left-Right-Center and particularly likes live music. The Resident Council is beneficial for voicing concerns. The staff is caring and professional.

From the very beginning when I first walked into Arbor Grove looking for a place for my dad, I was immediately welcomed and the staff spent so much time with me going over anything and everything, question upon question! The way I explained Arbor Grove to my siblings was " it's not the typical nursing home, it's so much more home like and family like". Perfect for my dad! I can pick up the phone and talk to someone right away if I have any concern or questions. They treat the residents with so much love and respect and care and concern. My family and I are so thankful for a wonderful place for my dad! They are so helpful with his meds, and medical changes, even if dad was on a diet the kitchen helped meet dad's needs to follow his diet. Bill pay is easy and simple. They keep great records and give you all the end of year info you need for taxes. They are quick to get your family member an appointment when needed. But the best part of Arbor Grove to me.... Is my dad is treated like a valued, special, human being and to make them feel at home truly. My heart is happy and full because my dad's heart is full!

Rooms are very nice. The staff is always very friendly and helpful. They have lots of activities all the time that my Mother enjoys.

My mom has called Arbor Grove her “home” for 3 1/2 years. She feels safe there. She is very well taken care of. The staff is very friendly, compassionate and caring. The rooms are spacious and clean. My mom loves to play bingo. She wishes it was played every day! They serve a nice variety of food. I would highly recommend Arbor Grove to anyone looking for a home for their loved one❤️

The living facilities are very nice. The staff is concerned and efficient. I would like to see more physical activities available. They have nice outside courtyard, but it could use better maintenance. My mother enjoys the bingo games.

Rooms are big and they allow residents to bring in furniture and things to make it feel like home. The staff is very helpful and has provided all the services we have asked. Activities like bingo and other games like that are the most enjoyable.

Our parents lived in the assisted living and our Mom now lives in memory care. This is a beautiful facility with a wonderful courtyard for sitting, walking & activities. The rooms are spacious, up to date and very nice. The staff is caring, kind and compassionate. They are always available for questions and to seek out answers. Arbor Grove is a wonderful place!

Arbor Grove has been a very kind and caring facility for my Mom to live in. The rooms are spacious and clean. There are a wide variety of daily activities for your loved one to participate in and enjoy. The employees encourage residents to join in. They bring in live music for residents to enjoy. They also invite students and classes from the local school to interact with the residents on different holidays. They play cards, BINGO, Trivia and have numerous outdoor activities when weather permits. The employees are patient and helpful to Mom whenever she needs them. They have always been helpful to me as well whenever O have had a question or concern. I feel very fortunate that Mom has such a nice play to live in with a caring community of helpers.

I feel like the facility walked me through the process and if I had any questions, they were quick to help.

The rooms are very nice and well temperature controlled with individual thermostats. We were allowed to bring in all of my mom's things and they were very helpful in hanging pictures on the walls. The maintenance man is very helpful and kind to all of the residents. They have an enclosed courtyard that residents can access at anytime for a walk or breath of fresh air. They do not have a van/bus to transport residents to off site activities. Sometimes, they use city bus, or commercial bus, but not very often due to expense. The activities have become more limited, and there are not many in the evening. I find the staff very responsive to my concerns. As with all facilities, they have had a fair amount of turn over, but there is a core group of care givers who have been employees for awhile. In assisted living, the care givers are not required to be CNA's.

We are very pleased with the care that our mom is receiving here at Arbor Grove. Communication is great and the staff is very friendly as well as helpful. Our Mom is content with her stay here.

My father as lived at Arbor Grove about 4 years. He loves it and so do we. The facility is beautiful and the staff is great. They are friendly and knowledgeable. They keep in contact with us. Dad has plenty to do there and seems to always be busy. During COVID 19 we were always updated about state regulations and they found creative ways for us to stay in touch with our loved ones. If your loved one can’t be at home Arbor Grove is a great choice for you.

Arbor Grove has the best staff. My mother has been a resident there since 2015 and she has received the best care that we could have hoped for. They have a daily calendar which is full of group activities that the residents are encouraged to attend. Bingo is a favorite for everyone! If a resident has difficulty with an activity, a staff member is right there to help out. The private apartments are clean and well maintained. The kitchen staff take pride in serving up delicious meals everyday! I would recommend Arbor Grove Assisted Living of Alma to any family.

Arbor Grove keeps our family informed of our father, who is a resident. They have many activities for residents along with activities for residents and their families to do together.

My Mom is here at Arbor Grove! Of course, she would prefer to be home, but she and our family agreed, she is where she needs to be! They treat her with so much kindness and love! She is happy and well taken care of. She loves her walks down the hallways every day and has made some friends along the way! They provide lots of entertainment for the residents. My Mom loves the music they provide. Thru this pandemic, they have kept everyone safe! It is a gorgeous facility and is kept very clean and is decorated beautifully. Her room is spacious, with a large living room, bedroom and bathroom. She has her own furniture and pictures hanging on the walls, so it feels like her own home! They have doctors, and nurses on staff so her health is a priority, as well. We are very pleased with how well she is being cared for!! That piece of mind that she comes first is a huge relief to our family!!

Deciding to move to Assisted Living was not an easy decision for my father, but the staff at Arbor Grove made the transition a positive experience. My father has a cat he rescued, that has kept him company since my mother had to move into a memory care unit. Ruby means the world to my Dad and he was able to bring her with him to Arbor Grove. They share what Dad refers to as his "bachelor pad" He has a spacious living room with kitchenette, a large bedroom with walk in closet, two large bay windows, and a bathroom with a walk in shower. Dad participates in the group activities and has become friends with the residents and staff. Dad receives the help he needs - well balanced well balanced home-cooked meals, housekeeping, and laundry; while still maintaining his independence. Dad is still safe to drive and comes and goes as he pleases. Arbor Grove provides peace of mind for my sister and me; we know he is safe and well cared for when we can't be there. As a nurse, I am particular about the care my Dad receives and Arbor Grove has exceeded my expectations. I only wish we had made the move several years earlier!
