I went to Linden Square Assisted Living Center. I know people who live there. I had dinner there; it's OK. They don't have as much stuff for the residents like the other places, but that's not going to be a big thing for my father. I have to call them to get more information. I went there to visit my friends. I liked the layout of their apartments. The staff seemed OK, all right. I was there on a Sunday, and I played bingo with my friends.

Linden Square Assisted Living Center had 12 levels of care, and my husband was a level 8. He had a stroke after we got him there, and they brought in hospice. Our experience has been quite good. The caregiver seemed very caring and very helpful. It's been a hard transition for me, but there's been good communication.
I went with a studio for the lowest price, which was room and board, and they added $300 for each unit of care. It had a very large bathroom with a walk-in shower, and it was very nice. All the windows had a window sill that curbs out to put things on, and you had a nice view. For memory care, the room, bathroom and closet are quite a bit smaller, but you pay more because the ratio of care is larger.
The food is quite good. They have a lot of carbs and desserts, but there's a variety, and they have a chef. Because of COVID, they just started going to the dining hall instead of eating in their rooms. They have exercise, an exercise room, and some activities. His needs are really being met well with the addition of hospice to his care there. The seniors are pretty happy and doing different things there.

I really liked Linden Square, and I don’t have to travel on the express way. I liked the room that he would go into; it had a big bay window and a walk-in closet, and it just seemed nice. Everything was clean, it didn’t smell, and it felt like his room back home. They had a program that had people doing things.

My friend has been at Linden Square for six weeks. We like the place so far. It's fairly new and the rooms are very nice, well-kept, and very clean. The staff is excellent. I liked their response time and professionalism.
