Charlotte Stephenson, a ProMedica Senior Living Community is an assisted living and memory care community located near Lake Adrian in Adrian, Michigan. Our community is also situated near ProMedica Charles and Virginia Hickman Hospital and many other specialty medical buildings and physician offices.

Charlotte Stephenson is a place where residents have control over their lives and encourage choices and independence. We enhance residents' lives through wellness programs, activities, excursions, socializing opportunities and personal care services. Charlotte Stephenson is a welcome home for our Lenawee County seniors who may need a little extra support and assistance, but do not require the intensive services of a skilled nursing facility.

Residents may choose from three apartment styles, which are designed to accommodate single residents or married couples. All apartments are equipped with a kitchenette with a refrigerator, an in-room individual thermostat, and oversized bathrooms with a personal shower and bench. A helping hand is always nearby with emergency assistance alarms in each apartment. Nurses are available 24/7 for the needs of all residents, and a wide variety of activities fill each day. Residents enjoy a maintenance-free lifestyle, restaurant-style meals, and a beauty salon/barber shop so they always look their best.

My father has been a resident at Charlotte Stephenson for a year and has received excellent care. I originally chose this community because they offer 24 hour nursing and I found the atmosphere to be homey. The staff and residents are friendly and engaging, and the staff have gone above and beyond to assist my father. Despite my father’s physical and cognitive challenges, the staff have been caring and innovative in resolving these things and meeting his needs. My father, who had been totally resistant to moving from his home, admits that while he would rather be at home, he doesn’t know another place he could receive the same care. I would highly recommend Charlotte Stephenson to anyone searching for Assisted Living or memory care for themselves or a family member.

My mother is in Charlotte Stephenson. It is a very attractive building and has very warm feeling. The attendants are pleasant and caring. The rooms are clean. My mother is moving to a larger room next week. The bathroom is immaculate, spacious, and very safe. They empty the waste basket in the room every day. We are very pleased with the care. They offer activities every day, and everything seems to be fine. They accommodate Father for a modest fee. He has dinner with Mother every night at a special table set aside so the two of them may eat together. We are very happy with it.
