About This Community

Margaret’s Place is a family-owned and operated residential care home. Founded in 2002, by a registered nurse, our community provides an extremely high level of care and individualized attention that is extremely personal and home-like. With a team that is professionally trained, we are able to provide care for residents suffering from memory care and other cognitive issues.

Margaret’s Place is bright, cheery and color-coordinated to create a sunny, happy residence. We promote an environment that is psychologically stimulating and encourage communication and engagement between our residents. We also encourage visits from family and friends.

Margaret’s Place is designed for five residents in a country-like setting. We offer private or semi-private bedrooms. Our home is secured and has a video/security system. Our residents particularly enjoy nature in our outdoor space. Residents receive weekly housekeeping and laundry service, 3 daily meals and snacks, and can participate in many of our on-site activities and amenities. Our community is handicapped accessible with a ramp for ease and mobility throughout the home.

Located in Prince George County, Margaret’s place is conveniently located less than 2 miles from Andrew’s Air Force Base.

I went to see George Assisted Living Facility's assisted living. It was okay and the staff was friendly. They were watching the news when I got there because it was in the evening. The staff said that they do activities but she didn't say too much about what they do. I meant to ask if they take them out for activities but with the Covid, of course, nobody knows much of anything. I should have asked about game boards, bingo, and that stuff but I didn't get the chance. It was okay though and they kept it clean.
