Look About Manor, in my opinion, is not what I think of when I imagine assisted living, it is many times better. The number of residents is small and each person is given a level of individual care that gives the relatives of the patents peace of mind. It is a comfortable, home-like setting with beautiful views of the surrounding country side. All the meals are made from scratch in the kitchen and they are great! The owner is a great cook and loves to treat the residents to her wonderful meals. There is nothing institutional about the tasty, healthy food. In fact, there is nothing institutional about the Look About Manor experience. The staff there is wonder as well. They treat the residents with respect and kindness. The relatives who come to visit are also treated as family. We have come to know the other residents there and visit with them as well. It is truly a unique experience when it comes to assisted living. When my father-in-law was in another home visiting him was not a comfortable experience. Here at Look About Manor, we actually look forward to not only seeing him, but visiting all our friends there. I highly recommend Look About Manor!
