About This Community

Celebration Villa of Manresa is an independent and assisted living community located in Annapolis, Maryland. At Celebration Villa, our focus is to support our residents’ independence and overall wellness. We treat all residents as respected members of our family. We understand the importance of our residents having a feeling of connection, community, comfort, and care.

Celebration Villa of Manresa is a restored historic estate set on 20 acres along the Severn River. Many residents find themselves relaxing on our waterfront porch, taking in the beautiful view, and rocking the afternoon away. Our community has many indoor amenities as well, such as our salon and barber shop, dining venues, and enrichment center. There is always something to do at Celebration Villa!

It felt very warm and very inviting. The staff that I talked with was very friendly, and the people who lived there seemed very happy and friendly. It was a beautiful location. They had a whole bunch of activities, and practically every amenity that you can imagine and somebody hadn’t even thought about -- like a hair salon -- was on the premises where somebody is there once a week to cut hair and do nails and stuff for the residents. They had a very nice selection of meals every day, and the resident can pick what meal they want from the menu of the day.

We have our parents in here. It is all very nice and good. They have a microwave, a refrigerator, and two nice, big windows. The room is big enough for a bed, a TV, a couple of chairs, and bathroom. There are a lots of activities, but my dad doesn’t participate in any of them. They do have everything though, like bingo, exercises, and reading groups.

I thought had a certain graciousness to it. It was an older building unlike most assisted living facilities. The staff was friendly. The kitchen was quite good, and the meals were probably above average. We were somewhat disappointed with the level of attention because she was needy, and we did not feel she would get much attention as she required. However, it was a lovely, beautiful facility.

My mother has moved in. It is a beautiful setting. It is a renovated old residence. It sits on a gorgeous field, and the staff is very caring.

My father is in here. It's a very beautiful place with an unbelievable view. All the staff are sending us daily emails about his transition and adjustment, and they seem to be very caring. His room is nice and big with a high ceiling. They had choices for lunch, which was very nice. They have an internet café and a lot of games and activities everyday. They have a very nice dining room, which looks like a lovely little restaurant with pretty chairs and tablecloths. You can arrange for internet in the bedroom, which we did, so my father can have his computer.
