Pure Heart Assisted Living was okay. It seemed kind of crowded to me, not so much with the number of residents, it was just the layout of the home. There was a split foyer, so the residents were just limited to the upstairs level where the kitchen and everything were located. It just felt crowded to me. The staff was knowledgeable. She gave me a lot of information. She was nice. She gave a great tour. I think she stayed there on-site, which was downstairs like the staff area. The services were fine. They gave meals, they had activities set up, and they did off-site activities for the residents. I just wasn't that impressed with that one. I didn't taste anything while I was there, but the menu sounded great.

The staff was very accommodating and caring. They even got her a recliner and switched to a Verizon cable box for her to watch her TV shows. They were in the process of installing a lift so they could go out on the deck down to the backyard. The rooms are on the small side but decorated nice. The ladies were always available by phone or text to answer any questions.

Purple Heart Assisted Living is the best facility in the area. My grandfather suffered from dementia and we chose Purple Heart because the bedrooms were spacious which gave my grandfather room for his recliner and to setup his table for card games. This facility made my grandfather feel like part of the family. He ate with the staff, played games and watched movies on a regular basis. I received a daily report of my grandfathers eating habits, medication intake and sleeping patterns. As my grandfathers mobility started to fade, the wheelchair accessible bathroom and lift made it easier for him to get in and out of the bathroom and the facility for doctor visits. I would recommend this facility to any family in search of an assisted living facility.
