My mother has lived at Fox Hill for several years. It has been a wonderful environment for her. The staff is terrific. The caregivers are excellent and very kind. There is a nice variety of activities taking place all the time. She is very happy there.

My brother stayed at Sunrise at Fox Hill for respite. It was very well run and very clean. The people were very attentive and eager to help when asked. The food could be a little bit better. They tend to run out of items at meals, like for lunch (e.g. hamburger). I think the food could be a little more appetizing and have a little more variety. They didn't have any specific dietary meals. My brother is a diabetic, and they had one sugar-free thing a day. They don't cook with salt, but they don't do any restricted type of meals there. You have to restrict it yourself, so that was a little bit of a concern. He was one of the younger people there. Most of the people there were for end of life. The director was very good. The sales manager was very good, very helpful, and always listened to our concerns. Value for money was good. A lot of the people there were older and had more medical needs than he. He was there just to get help for a month for respite, which was great.

Sunrise at Fox Hill was very nice, clean, and new, but it was just a little bit more than what we wanted to spend for assisted living. They came down in price, which started at $11,000, to $10,000, but it was still a little too much anyway. However, it's a wonderful facility, no question about it. I would recommend it for anybody that can afford that. It's probably one of the best in the area. The gal who toured me around was very nice. They were very sweet and accommodating. I liked the size, the sophistication, the quality of the building itself, and the structure. If I'm at that stage in my life, that's where I would like to be. It's really nice, clean, and fresh. The people were very warm and welcoming. I couldn't say enough about it. They offer nice activities, like painting classes and some educational classes, and there certainly was ample availability for transport outside. There was a lot offered to cover the expensive price. The staff was above and beyond, very informative, and kept up with me as far as making calls and wanting me to come there. It was 5-stars all around. There was housekeeping and a community washer and dryer.

Our overall experience with Sunrise was good. They were very attentive, but it was just too expensive. The area was nice, and the rooms were cozy, bright, very simple, and very minimal. The staff was very attentive, answered our questions, and provided me with the information needed. We just couldn’t afford to place our parents there.

My husband is in Sunrise for respite care. I was particularly pleased that they had people trained by the National Parkinson’s Foundation. There are exercise programs that are helpful to Parkinson’s patients. The facility is beautiful, they have an incredible staff, and we’ve been very pleased with it. The dining room is lovely, my husband likes the food, and they’re very aware of his needs. His room is very nice, furnished nicely, and I love the shower.

Sunrise at Fox Hill was very classy. The food was excellent, and the staff members were very nice. The residents had great independence and many activities available to them, like reading groups and Bridge groups. They could go out on various tours on their bus, plus they had a limo at their service. They bring musicians in and had a concert there last Thursday.

Fox Hill had extended care and nursing facility. It felt more like a nursing home than a regular residence, but it was modern and clean.

I visited Sunrise at Fox Hill, and the place seemed fine. It just didn't fit my needs. The accommodation of the staff during my visit was good. The apartments that they had there were small compared to the regular apartment I lived in. They had everything in terms of activities, but it didn't interest me that much. Sunrise would be great for other seniors, but it just wouldn't fit my needs.

Sunrise at Fox Hill was the most expensive among the facilities we have visited, but my mother liked it the most. I guess she liked the layout of it. It was a great place. The staff was great. They were very nice, and the residents seemed very happy. It was the nicest one.

My husband is currently in Sunrise at Fox Hill and we decided to let him stay where he is in now. We were at some point looking to move him to a different facility due to expense but we decided not to anymore. What I like about the facility is that they have special memory floor for their memory care unit. It's very new and very luxurious. We are separated so our daughter is mostly the one who makes decisions. He used to have and apartment there but now he is in a private room with a tiny little kitchen space. It's much smaller. The nurses there are very good. Their menus are good as well.
