Our 92 year old mother recently moved in to Byron House. She was living independently until a few months ago when she decided she needed help and wanted to be around people to eat and socialize with daily. The staff are first rate, caring and compassionate. The rooms are beautiful and some have wooded views. We are very happy with our selection.

I recently visited Byron House and it has changed considerably over the last year. It now is very cold, more very institutional. I do not know what happened (they do have some new employees) but I no longer want my mother to live there. The staff is still friendly, but again, when I first visited in January 2014 it felt like a home. Now it looks and feels like a nursing home.

My mom has been a resident for more than a year and I cannot say enough about this wonderful home. There are about 30 residents and the staff is caring and looks after each individual's needs. It is very beautiful and feels like a home.

Byron House Assisted Living looks like a large private residence. It's very pretty. It is affiliated with Catholic Church, and it has a good reputation. My mom broke her arm so she had a hard time getting dressed while her arm was healing, so they provided all personal assistance and medication management. The staff is very capable and it's a very personal type of care. They hold social events and they bring in entertainers or volunteers from their parish. They also have a van to take the residents out to lunch, shopping, and movies. It doesn't feel like it's an institution. Mom is very content there.
