We looked at Benchmark Senior Living at Shrewsbury Crossings. It had a very collegial atmosphere, and there's lots of good programs. The setting was lovely. The people were very friendly. The whole environment there was quite lovely. The rooms are not furnished, so you bring your own things. The staff member who took me around was excellent. They made us feel very comfortable, and they were very interested in what Dwight needed and how he would fit in. They provided excellent service. We were offered a meal. It seemed homemade. It was very good. It's extremely clean and well laid out for its occupants.

We went to Benchmark Senior Living at Shrewsbury Crossings. The rooms were very nice and spacious. There was a one-bedroom and a studio. My friend really liked the studio. We visited with a woman, and her room was already furnished. My friend was able to see it furnished, and the layout of the room was quite nice. They pretty much had the same amenities. They had a hairdresser, and they had a game room. They had a theater to watch movies. Outside, the courtyard where they sit was quite nice. However, the floors were kind of old and dingy. The rugs were dirty. The staff was topnotch. They were all very nice. The facility itself seemed to be an older unit. I know that wasn't my friend's favorite place.

Benchmark Senior Living at Shrewsbury Crossings was very clean and very cheerful. The lady that was the representative there was very helpful. She had a lot of good points and she explained everything. She took us for a tour, and she seemed to know all the people that work there. They were very friendly, and I liked the idea that it was a smaller community. It wasn't huge, it's only got 50 people in it, so it's not a large one. The person that I'm looking for, always lived by herself alone. I think she'd be overwhelmed if she went someplace that had like 80 or 90 units to it. It was very nice, very clean, and very modern. The rooms were very bright. We went into a studio, and it was lovely. It had a big bathroom. It was modern and was very nice. That's what we're going to end up with. She had called me; Beth is the lady that welcomed us and everything. She wanted us to come with my sister-in-law to have a meal deal for lunch, and we haven't been able to go. They were very good at it. They have laundry, housekeeping, and many programs that they do, activities, and art. They play a lot of card games; they asked if she plays poker and cribbage, I said I don't think she does. But they have a library there, and they also have a bus that takes them shopping in different places of interest that they would go for the day. They would take trips with the senior citizens. It's in a beautiful area in Shrewsbury. The area is very quiet. They had a sample menu, and we looked at that. What I liked about this facility is the kitchen was open. The dining area was open from 7:00 in the morning till 7:00 at night. They could go in any time and get what they want, order something and it would be brought to them. The person we're looking for, she's up half the night. She stays up at night and then sleeps in the morning. She doesn't eat breakfast sometimes until 10 AM or 11 AM. She's got dementia, so half the time she doesn't know if she's eaten or not. This way, someone will get her, bring her down and have her eat, and know what she's eating. You can't just have toast, that's not a meal.

Benchmark Senior Living at Shrewsbury Crossings was very nice. It had an excellent physical appearance outside. It's just a little clinical inside and the quarters were a little bit tight for two people or even for a single person. That was a big part for us because I think older people who are going to places like this (and because they're expensive), expect not to go from 2500 square feet down to 800 square feet, but Beth did a wonderful job showing us around. Their outside area was awesome. They got a great outdoor dining place. They had a lot of activities, too. They had a room where they played bingo and did all sorts of different stuff. They have smaller rooms in the different areas if you want to have a little small snack or breakfast. So, they had pretty good services.

I thought Benchmark Senior Living at Shrewsbury Crossings was wonderful. We went through all the levels of care, from the assisted to memory. I liked it. It was a small community. It's near a road, but it wasn't on a highway or anything like that. The area was kind of protected, so if you would go to memory care, you wouldn't be able to get out of the building. The doors are locked and alarmed, but the people in there just seem to be a lot friendlier. When we got there, the staff had a gate pass for us with our names on it. We went inside and sat down. They had coffee with food. They had fruits, sodas, cupcakes, and stuff like that. They made sure to make you feel welcome and warm versus any other place. I think we saw the suite with an alcove, and we saw a 1-bedroom apartment as well. It basically boils down to the price, which is high-priced. From what I saw though, everything looked very clean; even the bathrooms were clean.

I visited Benchmark Senior Living at Shrewsbury Crossings. I felt like the people there were very friendly and very informative. The community seemed like a nice fit for my mother, but I really liked the people I talked to there. The rooms were nice, and they were updating some of them. Everything's pretty up to date. I did tour their dining area; it was very nice. I don't know about the food; it looks like a good menu. The staff was very friendly and very informative. They have a patio with a garden. The only thing I did see was they had meditation and quiet time. The thing I like the most is the people who work there.

I went to the Benchmark Senior Living at Shrewsbury Crossing. It was very nice. They were very informative. The facilities and the grounds were very nice. I liked the homelike setting. The staff was very friendly and very nice. The woman we met was very informative. She really took a lot of time with us, and she had snacks prepared for us. She was very knowledgeable. The rooms were a little bit dated compared to the other facility we toured. They had a lot of activities, a full menu, and transportation to doctors' appointments.

I toured Benchmark Senior Living at Shrewsbury Crossings for my husband. It was nice. The woman that showed me around was very nice and gave me all kinds of information. The place seemed very clean, and the apartments seemed nice. They are in a good location; it's near everything in Shrewsbury. It is a very good location. I saw a studio apartment; it was small, but nice. I don't know about the food because I didn't try the food. They should make the dining room look a little more homey, like maybe put tablecloth on the table. That was the only thing I wasn't really fond about.

We went to Benchmark at Shrewsbury Crossings. It was beautiful and very nice. They took us around and showed us all of their different rooms and accommodations. The ones that were available were not furnished, but they were good. I would recommend Benchmark at Shrewsbury Crossings; it just doesn't meet our needs. It is certainly fine for many people. The people seemed very happy there.

Benchmark Senior Living at Shrewsbury Crossings is a wonderful place; however, it's beyond my financial reach, but I can see where the expense comes in. The rooms are a little bit bigger than other places, and the facility is lovely. The person who assisted me was a lovely, very attentive, and helpful lady. The food and dining area are excellent.

Benchmark Senior Living at Shrewsbury Crossings was good. The rooms were good but not as new. The staff was very good and nice. The food and dining area are good, and the security is good. They have a program director who would make programs for the whole day. The location was quite convenient.

Benchmark Shrewsbury Crossing is very nice, very clean, and the staff is very engaged. We’re very pleased with what’s happening now with my sister. She’s been there a month, and she’s taking advantage of the nail salon. She had some struggles with the food because of her diet, but they’re really accommodating of her gluten free diet. The dining area is set for table of 4, and it’s very bright and cheery. The layout is easier for my sister to get around in a wheelchair.

I thought the people at the Benchmark property we’re very engaging, and excited about their work. You could tell, but I didn’t like the size or the configuration of the facility. What really impressed me at that place was the director that manned the program. The only activity that I witnessed was the residents singing along with a television screen.

Benchmark Senior Living at Shrewsbury Crossings is nice. The rent is $139 a day for a studio apartment. And then there’s a $5,000 community fee, so it’s kind of steep. They have about 80 patients. The room has a refrigerator, a microwave, nice toilets and bathrooms, walk-in showers. They were worth it. The residents looked happy. The sales manager, Jennifer, seemed to be very friendly with the residents; she knew them by name.
