Heatherwood at Kings Way has a nice setting. The buildings are clean and attractive. I have friends who live there and they enjoy it. They like the community. The food is good. Assisted living is available if you need it. I visited a friend who lives there and she does not need any special help right now. It is available if you need it, but you have to pay for it. They have classes and activities like any of the places do. The woman who was in charge of new residents was wonderful. It's an excellent facility.

The reason why we chose Heatherwood at Kings Way is because you can buy the unit. All the people we dealt with there were lovely. Our visit there was very nice, and the apartments were really lovely. I liked the second floor with the cathedral ceiling. They have just about everything you need, they have an exercise room, a theater, a bistro, cafeteria, and a big dining room. They also have a nurse that comes three times a week, we don't need anything else. They provide 20 dinners or 30 lunches a month. What stood out when I first went there was that I liked the size of the units, we looked at a 2-bedroom, and it was the largest place we'd seen. The person who accommodated us was very knowledgeable and helpful. She had been in the business for years so she knows the ins and outs of the place. I have a friend who lives there and I would go and play bridge over there.
