We had an excellent experience with our tour at Brookdale Quincy Bay, we were very impressed. Everything was clean, the apartment was very nice with a kitchen. We were very pleased with the social atmosphere, the social rooms for people to congregate, and the lovely dining room. We were very satisfied. We looked at the menu but we didn't try the food. There was a whole bulletin board of all the different activities, people were taking the bus to go shopping at different stores, so people were waiting for that. The staff was very friendly.

Brookdale Quincy Bay gave me a thorough tour of their assisted living. I liked the way they had set up schedules of activities for the people who were there. The staff who assisted me showed me one of the bedrooms. There were others that she couldn't show me because people were in them.
I liked the fact they had different 1-bedroom apartments. It's not just one, but they come in different sizes. I liked the convenience of the place too because if I was to go and visit my mother, it would only be about maybe 10 to 15 minutes from me. I also liked that they have balconies.
The person who assisted me was very thorough about all the things that they had available to the residents of the facility. They have an activity room where people do exercises. It's a good thing that they have a library too because my mom likes to read. The upkeep was good and the place was clean.

Brookdale Quincy Bay had very nice facilities. The staff that we met with was very informative and provided us with a lot of information regarding the services that they offer. We saw a few different unit options. They offered transportation to medical appointments. They had various programs of activities. The common areas were very warm and welcoming. They have a library, a reading area, and a nice dining area. The facility is a little bit of an older building, although the units they showed us were very nice. The bathrooms are a little bit on the small side, and both my in-laws use a walker, so it would be difficult for them to be in there together. The staff was very friendly, very accommodating, and welcoming.

We found Brookdale Quincy Bay for my mother. It's just new, but they had a lot of employees that were willing to assist and were attentive. The studio has ample closet space, a kitchenette, and bath. Mom had a salad and some chicken yesterday. It looked fine. They had a maintenance guy come right in and fix a lock on their door for medication. I saw three maintenance guys and they were all very friendly. It appears to be well-kept and maintained. They have community rooms, a library, access to transportation, and an exercise program, but I haven't seen it yet. They have a daily calendar of half a dozen things to do.

The tour at Brookdale Quincy Bay was very good. They had different rooms and apartments available. They made sure I was comfortable. They listened to me and the problems that I have. The staff members were very friendly. They explained the different types of care. They showed me the cafeteria, library, and all the different rooms they had. The other thing too was the convenience of being next to a supermarket. The rooms they showed me were clean. One of the other major decisions was the price. I am not a veteran, so I get no aid.

I went to Brookdale Quincy Bay. It was very nice. The staff was friendly. The rooms were really nice. The one thing we did not like for our family was the bathroom/the showers. They were not roll-in, walk-in showers, there was a step to get in and out of it, and that wouldn't work for my parents. It was definitely clean. They were doing a lot of updates, so the facility was well taken care of.

Brookdale Quincy Bay was nice and they had huge apartments there. That was good but it was just too big for my mom and they didn't have the level of care that goes as far as checking on them. I think you have to be a little more independent there. Also, she'd have to be in a wheelchair because the halls are long. It's just too big and just not right for her. If I get old and have the money, I'll go to Brookdale myself.
We toured assisted living and everything was very nice. The apartments that they have were big. I think it may have been 6 or 8 floors so it's too big. She may wander off in the elevator so it's not good. It looked nice and clean, and everyone was very nice. At night time, a lot of people had their doors closed all the time so they couldn't just go and check on them. It's more like you have to be a little more independent than my mother.
The staff was very good. They had to interview my mother to see what level she would need and all that. They could see that maybe it was not a great fit since she was such a big fall risk.
They had 2 or 3 different room sizes. It depends on what you want and each one goes up in price. Same as the others, if you want medication twice a day, that's another price. If you need help showering, that's another price. If you need help dressing, that's another plus. If you need people to check on you, that's another plus.
The location is great. It's right near stores. If we have to run and get mother something, it's a walking distance to a supermarket. They have an in-house doctor that comes once a month. They also have minivans to bring people to appointments.
Everything was nice, clean, and very well kept up. It's got a nice big dining area. There weren't any negative things other than it wasn't the best fit for my mother because of the size of it.

The staff at Brookdale Quincy Bay was very accommodating. I thought the lobby area was cramped, but the rooms themselves were generous in size. They had full kitchens or kitchenettes. Everything looked fine, very neat, and busy. They had folks around enjoying the open spaces. They had a salon, a nice dining area, a nice game room, puzzle room, meeting area, and a private dining area. The surrounding area had a lot of retail places. There was a supermarket nearby, a Dunkin' Donuts, and restaurants. They gave us lunch, and it was very good. They had balconies. It was more modern looking. They were updating, and the rooms were having hardwood floors put in.

We toured Brookdale Quincy Bay for my mom, and it was very nice. I liked it, and it was a good option. It was in a good area, and it seems like good care. They are very helpful, friendly, and knowledgeable. The place seemed well taken cared of and well maintained. There is a lot of things close by like doctors and stuff.

I was very impressed with Brookdale Quincy Bay. They would have been my next choice for my father. It was a very nice facility. As a matter of fact, I was mentioning my search to a friend of mine whose ex-husband has gotten to the point where he needs assisted living and he is now there. I can't attest to the food, although they said the food was very good. Location meant a lot to me, and that was a good location for me.
Their studio had a kitchenette, a nice sized refrigerator, and an electric cooktop. It was very clean, sunny, and it had a little bit more room in it than the one we went to. I met with two people there, one was the executive director, the other one was a salesperson. They were terrific, helpful, straightforward, and gave a great explanation on how they work with their pricing.
They showed me the common areas, and they looked nice. They made sure we wore full PPE when we did the visit, so they're being careful. There was somebody at the front desk at all times, and they were professional. They do activities for the people, they have a lot of services, and their pricing is somewhat ala carte, so it's as much as you needed and then they price it out. They would help him if they needed to do his laundry, his medication management, any type of shower assistance, help him get up, or get dressed in the morning. They really had quite a few options for residents.

My mother has Alzheimer's and dementia. She receives excellent care while at Brookdale's Assisted Living. The cleaning staff, the kitchen staff, the dining staff, the reception area staff, the nursing assistants, the nurses and all the heads of all of the departments do a fantastic job. They've also been working very hard since March, and have kept my mother safe from COVID-19. It has been such a relief knowing she is in such good hands. I would highly recommend Brookdale Quince Bay.

Very glad I moved my mother here; finally she is closer to me and gets the support she needs when I can't be there. The apartments are large and bright, the staff are friendly and caring. My mother often invites me and friends from outside for lunch, we're always impressed with the food. Parties for special occasions are always well-done. The staff is doing a particularly great job keeping residents save and engaged during the COVID crisis. The nurses and aides, are always helpful and really care. I couldn't have found a better place for my mom!

Brookdale Quincy Bay was very nice, open and airy. The rooms were very nicely sized. The person during the tour was excellent and very informative. The dining area looked fine. I visited on a Saturday, so there were lots of families visiting, lots of people in the library, and they were showing a movie. There was a lot going on.

My parents will be moving into Brookdale Quincy Bay. The admission staff was a little flaky. The room has just been remodeled and there are some things that still need to be corrected, but the size of the rooms was tremendous compared to other places we've seen. The price is excellent and the location was ideal. They didn't rush us into making a decision. The residents all seemed happy to be there.

Brookdale Quincy Bay was very nice. The sizes of the rooms were very good. The facilities were excellent. Everybody there seemed very friendly and happy. I didn't see anybody sitting around sulking. It was very nice and very pleasant. The woman who took me around was very nice. She was lovely.

I wouldn't recommend Brookdale; it was smelly and dirty. I wouldn't feel safe leaving my mother there. I thought it looked like a huge college dormitory with multiple floors, and it's very confusing to me. I don't think it's conducive to an elderly person. The staff was fine and seemed very nice.

We had a wonderful experience at beautiful Brookdale Quincy Bay. They were all very nice people. We had lunch there, and the food was delicious. I am hoping to get my mother in there in June. The one-bedrooms are beautiful, very spacious, and very clean studio apartments with brand-new rugs. They rooms all had balconies with view looking out across the river; I live on the other side of the river. This one was so close to my house and within the price range we needed that there's no reason for us to look anywhere else.

My father is in Brookdale for a couple of months now. We’ve been very satisfied with the quality of care. There haven’t any issues or problems, and so far it has been great. The rooms are very clean, well-kept, and they have a clean record from the state. The food is great, it’s not like hospital food, and my dad seems to really enjoy it. They have quite a few activities, and there’s plenty of opportunity to get involved if you wish to. However, It’s very big, and seemed a little impersonal.

Brookdale Quincy Bay was very welcoming, and the receptionist was very pleasant. She told me how the assisted program works and what my mother could potentially qualify for there because she is qualified for MasHelp, explained potential benefits for my father since he is a veteran, and talked about amenities and meal choices. We walked around the facility and went to one of the apartments. If someone needs assistance, the staff worked directly with them. There were quite a few amenities from having entertainment come in, a card room, computer room, and exercise rooms. There is a doctor, nurse practitioner, optometrist, and dentist in the facility. They take people out grocery shopping since there are full kitchens in the apartments even though it’s assisted living. The facility was very nice, clean, and well-kept. The residents appeared to be happy from what I have seen, and I am impressed.

Brookdale Quincy Bay was also very nice. It was more of an apartment type facility. You will have a living room, a bedroom, and a kitchen. They had a cafeteria, and they offered meals. They had 24/7 care. The only thing I did not like about it was there was no lock down. My mother-in-law has a little bit of dementia, and she could go out at any time. I think it lacked a little bit of security.

We found River Bay Club for my mom. Everybody there is wonderful. The apartments are beautiful. She is actually in a double room where she shares an apartment with someone else, and it is very nice. They have a full kitchen, a little living area, and separate bedrooms. It is very nice. I had lunch with my mom. The food was excellent. They have quite a menu. It is very, very good. They have a lot of going on. They have bingo, they play a lot of movies, they have a computer club, and they have a library. Security and safety management is fine. When you go to visit someone, you have to sign in and sign out, which I think is a good idea. I would definitely recommend this facility to others.

I was impressed with River Bay Club. Unfortunately, the place was kind of a locked down, so there weren't too many people around at that point. The lady who showed us around was very helpful, very nice, and told me just about everything I needed to know. They had a lot of activities like bus trips. In a normal time, there seemed to be a lot things going. The apartments that I saw were very nice. They had a very nice living room, a nice bedroom, a balcony, a closet, a nice bathroom, and I kitchen I wasn't too crazy about.

River Bay is superior; my mother is happy there. They do yoga, bingo, they have a library, and there are mild exercise classes. She’s just getting into the whole thing; she is not there yet. It’s just lovely all the way around.
The room is beautiful, the facility is clean, it doesn’t smell, and it's quiet. It’s a perfect facility.

I visited River Bay Club. Of all the ones that I saw, this was the one that I was going to try to utilize. It was excellent and relatively modern. They had the best activities for my mother. Everybody was excellent and professional. They showed me some of the types of activities that they do, and I saw pictures of them. They have a couple of special dinners, and they set up outside to make it different and fun. They try to make it really nice for the residents there.

I spoke to the coordinator at River Bay, brought my parents, and checked out the apartment. I was satisfied with what I saw and I stopped my search. We didn’t have an appointment, but they gave us a tour. The rooms were very nice, and we got the information needed.

My aunt is at River Bay Club. She has been there for a year and a half. This place is in a very nice area. It is within a mile to the hospital. The facility is plenty big. There is a porch all around the building. The place is a big area where they can walk. What I like best about this one is the openness. It is set up more like a hotel than an assisted living. I like the activity. There are plenty of activities. It is a very active community. The staff is very pleasant and very cooperative. The management seems to be very caring. As far as the aides go, some of them leave a lot to be desired. This needs to be addressed. If they are going to be in the job, then they need to care about the person and be more attentive to the person. Also, they don't get my aunt out enough into the activities. There are only two girls there that actually encourage activity with her, which is what she needs. Overall though, I think it is a very nice place. I would recommend this place to others.

The room sizes at River Bay Club were quite big. I saw one room and it was really huge. It has a big living room, two big bedroom, good-sized bathrooms. Their price was also lower than the other ones I've visited. They were able to call me again and see how I was doing. There was a good size dining room and plenty of staff. They have plenty of places for social activity on one of the floors and the overall place, I did like it. It was close to transportation and they also provide transportation to the residents.

River Bay Club was just a single building in a fairly adequate neighborhood. It’s a neighborhood where I would never feel safe walking around the block. The staff was accommodating and friendly. First of all, everyone there was ninety years old and I’m sixty-six, so I didn’t really feel it was all right to have been there at all. I was sad that I wasted the whole morning there. I wouldn’t recommend it to anybody. The physical accommodations were borderline seedy. The staff was nice enough, the few that I met, but they seemed to be eighty to ninety years old.

The rooms at River Bay Club were nice. The singles were very, very small for the price. The staff was very accommodating. We had set up a time to come, and they took us through the whole place and showed us everything. They went through all the different activities that they do. They take them shopping a couple of times a week. They go bowling, they go to the malls, and they have pool tables. They have story time, and people come in and do yoga with them. They have three meals a day. They had assisted living there, but it was more independent, like he would be on his own a lot. If we wanted to have the assisted living, we would have to pay a lot more.

River Bay Club was a very nice facility; however, it was more assisted living than independent living. The people there were more informed than I would want to be associated with. Even the executive director who took us around agreed that it was not for me, so that was that.

My sister has been in River Bay Club for a few weeks now. She likes it a lot and she is comfortable there. It is a very nice and very clean facility. Her room is not that big, it's a studio, but it is big enough for her. The food is very nice there and the staff is very friendly.

This facility was the cheapest we could find. It seems to be nice, he has been in there for almost 2 months so far and hasn't had any complaints. There are activities for him to participate in and as far as we can tell he is happy. I have tried to food and it was real home cooked stuff, not frozen microwave dinners.

My mother-in-law lived at the River Bay Club for several years. She suffered from an ear problem which caused her to fall frequently and as a consequence she broke her hip bone and had other breaks as well. It became impossible for her to live independently. We selected the River Bay Club for her because she needed somewhere safe to live as well as the ability to maintain her independence. Her living quarters consisted of a small studio apartment with complete kitchen and lovely view. The common facilities provided her with many opportunities for social interaction. A grand piano was available for the use of the residents and this definitely lent an air of communal spirit and belonging to most of the people. As far as food goes, the menu was delightful. My husband and children dined in the cafeteria and were served and delicious and nutritious meal comparable to any served in a better than average restaurant. The facilities also included a hairdresser and gym. Frequent group outings allowed for shopping and outdoor fun.We were grateful that the River Bay Club was available to provide my mother-in-law with a comfortable and safe home with many services.

My mother, who has gotten on in years decided she wanted to go into assisted living. We offered to have her move in with us, but she wanted to be around people of her age. We toured many facilities and she chose the River Bay Club in Quincy, MA. The staff was very friendly and the environment seemed very pleasant. The cost was a little higher than some of the other places we had toured, but in the end you do get what you pay for, and I wanted my mother to be happy. The River Bay Club was neat and attractive, the rooms are spacious, and include a small kitchen, which was very attractive to my mother. The River Bay Club was not only a clean and attractive property, but there were many activities and facilities at the location. There was a Beauty shop on site so she would not have to leave to get her hair done. There was a very nice fitness room as well. In the end, she is very happy with the River Bay Club and recommends it.
