The Linden at Danvers was very nice. I liked the people and the place. I was going to be sending my wife there, but she didn't want to go. The ground seemed clean and the people were nice. The room I saw was good. It was not furnished, you have to furnish it, but it was adequate, decent, and it was clean. The residents were well taken care of and it was quiet. They mentioned some activities, but my wife was unfortunately more of a just stay in the room and watch TV type of person. They work with physical therapists, which I am interested in, and they had a nurse on duty. They had laundry services and an area for watching TV. I just saw a few people sitting around because it was warmer weather that day, and they were just relaxing. All the staff that I met and the person who gave us the tour were very friendly and very cooperative.

The Linden at Danvers is beautiful, it's gorgeous, and it's very expensive. They're all very nice, friendly, and the rooms range in size. I think there's three sizes of studios, but we only saw the smallest one. It was very nice, not accommodating, it was too small for the price and everything, and of course you have to pay for extra things. We couldn't get a lot of information. They do a points system there for the assessment, and you don't know what the points are. We didn't receive that information right away, and when we finally did we haven't heard back from them. They did send Mother a meal the next day, I believe for her dinner, and she said it was very good.

Place is disgusting. Stains on carpet outside memory unit Patients unkempt with food all over the front of them. Witnessed staff getting dining room ready for dinner Placemats with dry crusted food on them Patients talking to staff and staff walk by and ignore them. Menu posted on wall had good stains on paper Tables / chairs chipped and falling apart. Another staff member sitting in front of television on her phone while a patient crying Could not get out of this place quick enough.

Brookdale Danvers has been very accommodating. They have done everything that we have asked. They have fulfilled everything that they promised. They treated my dad very well. They also treated me very well. My dad is very happy there. He is not well at the moment, but he was thrilled after he moved in there. He chose this one because his sister and his son-in-law both had been there. The room is very nice. It is a perfect size for him. The bathroom is wonderful and very easily acceptable for him considering where he has lived. My dad is religious, so he looks forward to when they go to church. When they come in and do prayers, he likes that. He got to go to a casino and he was thrilled with that too. He has gone down to participate in different things that come in. They have something everyday. The food is served restaurant style, so there is a menu. My dad loves getting three meals a day and snacks; he is thrilled with it. I have eaten there several times and it truly is restaurant style with perfect portions, i.e., not too much and not too little.

I live in Brookdale Danvers and I recommend it. I moved in February of this year to assisted living. The staff is very good and attentive. The grounds are very beautiful. They have several different room floor plans. I have a studio apartment, which is quite adequate, and generous in size. They have larger apartments, but they are more expensive.

We have already selected Brookdale Danvers. It is a wooden 3-story building and has a big wrap-around porch with rocking chairs; it looked like a summer resort hotel. I was impressed by everybody who was introduced; they stopped what they were doing and got engaged in learning how to say my mother’s name correctly. It was a very good experience. The studios were very small, but we chose a 1-bedroom that has a big walk-in closet, so we were pleased. One of the great things is that it is 1-minute off of a major highway, so it is very convenient. Their pricing is within our market; it is on the lower end.

I am impressed by the people at Brookdale Danvers. They try to make sure that they made everything right. They were very attentive, very friendly, and efficient. My mother-in-law's biggest issue was the common space was too large and the apartments were too small. The food was delicious and absolutely phenomenal. The dining was very formal setting. I'm not sure seniors like a formal setting. They have a café, but I think the overall dining room could look cozier instead of like a big hotel dining room. They have lots going on, like yoga, Bible study, which was lovely as well as arts and crafts. I think that was very much thought out. They think things out completely at Brookdale. However, the building itself is very dated and could use paint. I think the bathrooms for public as well as their clients are old and could look a little bit updated. I sat in some common chairs and the seats have big holes in them. They could replace old furniture with new and redo the bathrooms. The people that run it are wonderful. My mother-in-law who's 90, thought the place looked too large. Brookdale was a Marriott Hotel, so you can see why the dining room is big. The table cloths and everything was wonderful, all very pretty and very nice and welcoming, but almost too big. I think people that are used to being in their own home or a smaller setting, when they see something that big, they get nervous. For people, I would give it a 5.

My mother is at Brookdale Danvers, and everything has been awesome. They are very kind, very caring, and just very friendly like everybody’s family. The room is adorable. She’s got her personal touches in there from her house, she’s got plenty of room, and the bathroom is excellent for the handicapped. They have all kinds of activities and there’s something going on all the time. She especially likes the Bingo, and she likes to go out for dinner and stuff. They go on sightseeing tours and since she’s only been up here once before on vacation, so she’s seeing places that she’s never seen before and making friends. They have trivia, bowling, all kinds of games and exercises, discussion groups, and social parties. The other day I was there and they had an entertainer. It put the spark back in her life because for too long since my father passed away, she had no reason to get up in the morning and now she does. She says the food is delicious. My mother loves to eat and they have very good food, their menus are wonderful. If I could stay there myself, I would.

We liked Brookdale Danvers very much. It was our second choice. The person that gave us a tour was very professional and answered all of our questions. We were very impressed with her. The facility was nice and clean and in a good location for us. The food was fairly good but not excellent. The room seemed nice. Everything seemed very nice. They had activities that looked interesting.

Mom is in the memory care unit of Brookdale Danvers. It is almost a resort type of atmosphere. They have beautiful grounds outside with flowers and shrubs. They have benches to sit on. They have a walking trail that goes around the property. Inside, they have a beautiful library you can sit there to read and use the computers. They have large screen television in the television viewing room. They have a beautiful dining room facility. The staff is top notch. They are very helpful and pleasant to be with. They are caring about their residents. They will go above and beyond just to make sure that not only the residents are comfortable, but the family is comfortable as well when we are visiting. They take very good care of us.

We went to Brookdale Danvers, and I have to say that this place was the second best option that we had. We like the quality of their activities as it was most compatible with my mom's needs. They also seem to provide more in the way of transportation options. Their transportation options were better. The residents were also outside and chatting; they seemed more engaged.

Brookdale Danvers was really nice. I liked the people, it was a very nice and clean facility, and the staff was very pleasant. Actually, what hindered me was the cost. It was just too expensive. I like to talk to the residents when I go because that is how you really get a feel, and the residents there were happy. There wasn't really anything I didn't like about it.

My mother-in-law was in Brookdale Danvers. It was excellent, but she required more care. It was one of the best assisted living I had seen. She was only there for a month. They had things going on all the time.

The sales person in Brookdale was very knowledgeable. The place appears to be clean, and a lot of the residents were smiling. They’re doing some remodelling. My brother’s room is a studio. The residents I talked to, said they love it there.

Emeritus at Cherry Hill was a nice place, but they couldn't really provide the kind of care that she needed. They had a van that would take them out for lunch or shopping or whatever. They had a lovely activities director -- Ellen -- who did crafts and things with them. They had a lovely party in the fall where they hired a disc jockey, and they had all those decorations; it was very nice. It was really hard to get hold of management because they were in a transition period where they were switching companies, and some people were leaving while some were staying, so it was kind of chaotic. They have a special memory care section, which is kind of a special area that is locked, and it has its own courtyard and things like that. The staff there was really nice, and they did as much as they could. The food was good, and they did have a lot of activities.

My brothers & I visited Emeritus and were happy with what we saw and the friendliness of the staff. The place was very clean and well appointed. Things to note: all living quarters are on 2nd and 3rd floor with 2 elevators. Lots of activities available and well staffed with nurses. The food menu looks fantastic and the rooms were adequate in size for one but might be limited for a couple. Their costs have gone up since last year and it was impossible to nail down what the exact monthly expenses would be for my parents to live their. We were told the "additional items" can range from over $900 to $3400 a month. Also, I guess with the new owners, they no longer are a Medicaid certified facility

I enjoyed my visit at Emeritus at Cherry Hill. I like the idea that you could have somebody come visit and stay in a room nearby. They have a movie theater, and they have just about everything. The facility is clean and laid out very well. The attendants seemed to be very helpful. I was able to have lunch there, and it was quite good. Their dining room is excellent. The apartments that I saw have big windows. They are airy and light. They have very nice accommodations.

Emeritus at Cherry Hill was very misleading. When I went online to look at the website, the rooms were at $2,300 a month and when we got there, they walked us through the building, and it was a beautiful building, nice and clean; it looked like a nice facility. When we sat down to chat about finances, then lo and behold, the actual room price was $9,000 a month. They don't accept Medicaid or Medicare, it's all private pay. I didn't really see anything special about this place for it to be that much money, but it was nice. They knew their business, but it was very misleading. If I had known it was $9,000 and it was private pay, I never would have gone in there.

The price was good at Emeritus in Danvers. My partner has a large studio room. It’s very clean. The dining room is beautiful. The food is excellent. The staff is caring and they let you know what’s going on. If there’s a problem you can go and talk to them. I’m satisfied and happy with it.

The reason we chose Emeritus was really because my sister and the rest of my family is all up in Massachusetts. We liked that it was very white and clean, that it looked cheerful. I thought the staff was very helpful, and they continue to be so because my mother is actually there. We've been very pleased with everything, the food, and also the activities they provide because that was another thing we were very concerned about was keeping my mother active. They have a morning exercise class. They have different bus trips that they do. They go out to different restaurants. Three nights a week, they have a movie night. On Valentines Day, they had this big party where some of the married couples there did vow renewals. I'm very pleased with most everything with Emeritus.

I was very impressed with my visit in Emeritus at Cherry Hill. It's down the street where my son lives. They have an independent living unit and also advanced level of care. The person I interviewed was extremely capable and confident. I had enough information. I liked what I saw.

Emeritus is outstanding. Mom has been there since September. It's clean and it smells nice. They have a chef and the food was awesome. They go on nature rides, they have parties every two weeks, like Thanksgiving party, they have dances, and they do all kinds of stuff. Mom gets to keep one of her cats, too. I can't say any bad thing about them. The place is perfect. For people that don't have a ton of money, this is the place to go.

The one that I didn't like the most is Emeritus in Danvers. To begin with, I'm a nurse, and when I walked into the building, it smelled like urine. That was the first impression I got. When I went to look at a room there, they told me that this was a double room. It really wasn't a double room, it was a single room that they had put two beds in. It had one bathroom and one closet. I wouldn't put my aunt there. I didn't like that at all. There would be no place for her to have any of her things. I also didn't like the guy who showed me the room telling me that it was a double room when it was obviously not. Also their residents in that particular area were all sitting in a line in their wheelchairs or what. It didn't appear that there was much activity for them. I only went there once and those were my opinion of the place, but I would never go there again. I just didn't like it there.

My sister is doing well at Emeritus. She's been living there for two months. The facility was cleaner compared to the others and it had the best activities. We're happy with everything there.

Emeritus at Cherry Hill was a nice place, it was clean, and good-looking, but it was more expensive. It had no senior waiver and the facility just seemed smaller for more money. I saw the dining room, which looked lovely. The grounds were spectacular. The gentleman, who was the executive director, walked me around. He was very nice too. Also, they seemed to encourage families to be there too. The day I was there, there were at least two or three families having dinner with their elders. It looked like great spot, but elders, like Mom, are on limited income and it's very expensive here in the East. The senior waiver is a big deal.

Emeritus at Cherry Hill is an assisted living facility located in Danvers, MA. It is 10 minutes away from Massachusetts General Hospital. I don't work for this facility. I usually visit Emeritus several times a year to check on a senior resident. The gardens and lawns are well manicured. The building is well secured and staff is available 24hrs to assist residents with activities of daily living such as bathing and dressing. Home cooked meals are served three times a day. Staff interacts well with the senior resident I visit regularly. He has never complained about the services offered about Emeritus. He seems very comfortable. Emeritus is a place I can recommend to seniors searching for a home in the northshore area of Boston.

Emeritus at cherry hill was an extremely nice facility. From the moment we walked in the door, everyone was extremely hospitable, however it seemed a lot more genuine then some of the attitudes at other places we visited. Not only were the people great, but the place seemed more like a nice hotel then an assisted living home. A lot of negative thoughts come about when talking about assisted living, however Emeritus seemed like a much happier place then I had originally expected.

I would highly recommend this Senior Care, Assisted Living, and Alzheimer's Care Home. When my family visited a neighbor living here, we felt welcomed and special. When you walk in, someone greets you and the Staff is very helpful and exceptional. Also, there is a fireplace and a Dining area when you walk in which is welcoming and inviting. The colors are pretty, carpets and areas were clean, aroma nice smelling. The place where my friend ate was very well taken care of with home cooked, hot food. In the dining area, there were fancy napkins, tablecloths, nice plates, dinnerware, etc. The entertainment area was very inviting as well. Very nice gardens and an area to walk around with new benches. Most everything looked new!
