About This Community
The Scandinavian Living Center is a nonprofit assisted living center taking an inspired approach to elder care. Community involvement is central to the SLC's mission. We offer a variety of services including 24-hour on-site staff, licensed nurse on staff, medication monitoring, all-day dining, 1 hour of personal care, weekly housekeeping and linen service, life-enriching programs, wireless emergency response system, personalized health and fitness programs and transportation to medical appointments. our on-site Cultural Center hosts events and programs that are open to residents and the broader local community.

Scandinavian Living Center was an absolutely lovely facility. Great staff, beautiful, lots of recreational and educational opportunities, and good food. It had beautiful rooms, small, intimate settings. You name it, they have it: music, dance, games, outside speakers coming in, and community organizations that meet in the building so the seniors can participate. You basically have a little apartment with a little bit of a kitchenette, but they had communal meals too.
