My family visited Westford House when we were initially considering placing our loved one in assisted living. She was beginning to need help with daily activities and routines and we wanted to see what our options were. It was early in our search, and we found the staff at Westford House to be very helpful to us as we were just beginning to navigate through the process of finding an assisted living placement. We found a few aspects of Westford House to be really outstanding the physical therapy/exercise area was a great space, the outdoor areas were inviting and the rooms were a good size. As far as assisted living facilities go, it did have a bit more of a "nursing home" feel to it the common areas were kind of sterile and the outside of the building didn't really have much charm. But we really found the staff to be very personable and helpful to us, providing information not just on their facility but on assisted living in general. I would recommend a visit to Westford House when touring facilities in the Merrimack Valley area.
