I was a patient for 3 months recuperating from phnumonia. Just about all of the RN, s were very proffessional and caring. I was in total. Control of my mental state, just couldn't do much because of my breathing. Needed physical help to take care of myself for. The day time staff was very nice and helpful. The problems were with the food (very bad). I wasn't on any restricted diet, could eat anything. Also, some of the aids were not very nice and considerate. Some of the roommates were handicapd and needed assitance getting in and out of bed. The lifts were very noisy and the girls were very loud, could wake the dead loud. The aids could not get you any meds, so they had to pass on the info to the nurse. Several times I had to wait for over a hour to get my pain meds. Also, some of my room-mates were very rude. Would leave the tv on all night and volume up to loud . The aids would say anything or help. I was getting my meds from the V.A. but the health care office would not allow them, I had to get them through the health care facility. I guess you get what you pay for, would of expected better service for the money.
