Arbor Trace had an assisted living side that felt like assisted living. Their hospital side and their assisted living side are separated and on opposite ends of the building. Their apartments were a nice fair size, brightly lit, and they appeared to be clean. I had known somebody who lived there, so I had some experience with Arbor Trace. They have a small library, they have a room with a piano in it. Sometimes somebody comes in and plays the piano. So they did have several opportunities for getting involved.

Arbor Trace was very nice, and the gentleman that showed us around was also very nice. The rooms were also nice, but for assisted living we were hoping for a little bit more size-wise. It's very nice, although we were looking for more space for both our parents. They have quite a few activities for the residents. The whole community seems to be very nice. The people we met were very nice, and the facilities were nice and clean. We were very happy with it. We just need to convince our parents.

Arbor Trace was big and nice and I liked the way it looked. They have really nice, big rooms. They have a library and salon. My stepmother went there and she said the food was good. They did a lot of different physical therapy with her.

We were not satisfied with Arbor Trace because the apartments were so small. The staff was very informative, very nice, and treated us well. We were satisfied with the contact. I've seen various activities and recreational activities.

We had a really good time at Arbor Trace. Carla, the lady who did the tour with us, took us around, showed us the rooms, and told us all the things they provided for their residents to do. The apartments were smaller than what we were used to, but it was very upbeat and very pretty. They had several different cafes around and they were all very nice. They offer trips outside where the residents can go shopping. You can tell them what you like to eat and they put it on their menu. It was a very nice, bright, cheery, and clean place. They gave us a loaf of bread and it was very good. They can do your laundry and they provide the housekeeping.

My mother moved in to assisted living at Arbor Trace and loved it. We all loved it! My mother has passed away, but I still come back to visit the staff and residents who knew my mom. As my mother's condition declined she moved from her apartment to the long-term nursing care wing. The staff made the transition very easy for me and my mother. The administrative staff handled everything. Jared and Carla were so helpful. Thank you for making my mom's final years great ones.

Mom was at Arbor Trace for several weeks. There were amenities that weren't working properly. The light above our bed wasn't working properly and it took them a long time to get it fixed. There was something about the showers that didn't work properly. The food was not particularly good. It took quite a while to get someone to respond when she needed care.

My mother and I visited Arbor Trace's assisted living facility several weeks ago, to see a family friend who was recuperating from a bad fall. The friend was staying in the assisted living portion of Arbor Trace until she was well enough to return to her residence. My impressions of Arbor Trace were mostly positive. The facilities appeared to be clean and well-maintained. Several of the common areas were named after local attractions. There was a small movie theatre named after the former Tivoli movie house that many residents at Arbor Trace probably remember fondly. The dining halls and community room appeared to be nicely appointed. We didn't see a lot of people around, but that could have been because of the time of day we visited, which was early afternoon. I think that most of the residents are in the nursing home section of the facility, and we did not go into that area. Our friend was doing well, and seemed to like it there, all things considered. I thought her room was a bit sparse, but maybe that was because she was there only for a temporary stay. I think if she had moved in permanently, she would have selected a larger room. The staff we interacted with were friendly, and were very courteous about not interrupting our visit. The person at the front desk had to call around to verify that our friend was there and where she was staying, however, which I thought was odd. I would give Arbor Trace a good rating overall from what I saw during the visit.
