I was treated unfair. I was treated with no dignity. All caregivers gossip about other residents who where my friends living there. I didn't have a choice with meals. No milk offered at lunch. We weren't even allowed to ask.

I think Heritage Assisted Living of Boise is great, the food is good, and they seemed to be really caring and helping with the paperwork on this process of my mother moving in. It's sufficient, it's an older building, but I think they're fine. They go out on outings, they have bingo, yesterday they had a Superbowl party in the lobby, and they had a piano there, and you can come and sing. I've eaten there many times, and it's really good.

I think the staff at Heritage is wonderful. They are doing a great job, and my dad is thriving now. He is engaged with all the activities, so the care is definitely working out for him, there is a lot of one on one, and he is thriving. His room is not spacious, but he does not have a lot of items and possessions, so it is just fine for him. There are other rooms he could have had, but this one is just fine.

Heritage Assisted Living is somewhat convenient, but it’s too expensive. It’s right off the freeway. The rooms are fine. The people are fine and open. They have movie nights, dress up parties -- they don’t do a ton -- but they do them sometimes. The food is fine. My wife is not happy there though.

I found out the hard way, this is the best place to be. All staff is caring helpful and understanding, the best team work any where.

The only thing that we really liked about Heritage Assisted Living was that they took Medicare and that she could have a private room. They have one registered nurse during the day and they don’t have a nurse at night. Some of the aides were fine, but to be honest, I probably would not recommend them to anybody. They didn’t have any air conditioning in the building and each unit had to have its own window air-conditioner. It was located off of a busy commercial street. It's an older facility and they having some maintenance issues, but they are slowly upgrading that. The rooms are of decent size and they have a cafeteria for meals.

The staff I met inside the Heritage were very helpful, friendly, and answered all my questions. They were more than accommodating. The rooms were nice, clean, sunshiny, with a nice window. The apartments were very nice and updated. The whole facility seem very nice. They have games and pool, a library, and they do take them on outings throughout the town once or twice a month. There's also an available driver for doctor appointments. I did like the location because it was close to where I work and where I live. I didn't have any qualms about it.

Not being in to many assisted living homes i dreaded the thought of having to visit one. As i imagined i would walk in and the smell the stench of death and decay would hit my noise , followed by the moans of zombie like elderly integrating gating the staff on the where about of Roscoe or some grand child from long past. But to my surprise as i walked in it smeeled pleasent and inviting . the paint on the walls was calming and soothing and all the elderlery where socilizing with eatch other and or partipating in scheduled activies , if anything this place was like a resort everyone was happy the staff was very helpfull and caring . So with all do respect once i loose my last marble i will be happy to find myself in a place half as nice and enjoyable as Heritage Assisted Living.
